Of course not all Jews are Zionists, I should hope not. Any reasonably sized and educated group is going to have people of different opinions, and while I am an ardent Zionist I do not consider it a weakness that there are those of the Jewish faith who disagree with me. This is a central article of our faith. Conversely, look at the opinion polls of the Muslim world. All-too-often the answers skew toward nearly absolute answers. To a non-Muslim I find this genuinely disconcerting. It shows a genuine lack of socio-cultural gradiations. Despite this, even the Arab/Muslim world isn't really monolithic. For instance, how many hundreds of thousands of Arab Israelis--Palestinian Israelis to you...right?--prefer to stay in Israel whether there is a Palestinian state? I'd hardly call them ardent Palestinian nationalists given that all they'd need to do to "emigrate" is walk across the border... sometimes literally feet. But even failing that, many wouldn't even have to move if Israel surrendered some of the Arab towns to a future Palestine. Yet these Palestinian Israelis--and yes, they're critical of Israel often--suddenly get amazingly patriotic when there is the possibility they may lose their Israeli citizenship.
