2. Hariri JR depicts Lebanon perfectly
CJ   (08.12.10)
When dealing with Syria and Iran (and Hezbollah), those who murdered his father: Spineless and like a floor mop.
3. COMPLETE DEBACLE
Afonso Vasconscelos ,   Brasil   (08.12.10)
Oh my God.... Lebanon has never been so low in its history. How is it possible for a Prime Minister be so condescendent with a criminal like Nasrallah? This Iranian colony (Lebanon) is looking for trouble. They provoke Israel then act as crybaby to the world. Shame on you Lebanese, ops, Iranian servs...
4. Nasrallah you make me laugh.
Peter ,   Uk   (08.12.10)
When guilty blame Israel. What a fool you are! HA,ha,ha!
5. then whats the point?
Ruben ,   Tel Aviv   (08.12.10)
I thought he is a man of honor. But he is a spineless flop and a puppet of Nasrallah.
6. Bravo Nasrallah,
Salma ,   Palestine   (08.12.10)
Thanks to your attention & efforts, there will be no civil war in Lebanon.
7. Everyone remembers the progress Lebanon was . . .
Ken Quinn ,   Amsterdam   (08.12.10)
Everyone remembers the progress that Lebanon was making under Rafik Hariri. So who has profited from his murder? Syria and Hezbollah, that's who. What a pity that Saad Hariri has to do this thing to buy off a civil war.
8. #2 - There is no evidence yet
lara ,   Australia   (08.12.10)
So far nothing concrete has been presented to incriminate anyone. He cannot put blame or accuse Syria or Hizballa until evidence of the incident surfaces. To risk falsley accusing someone would be a grave mistake. He is not being spineless, he is being diplomatic by allowing an investigation of all suspects to be conducted. At the time of the assassination, I thought Syria was behind it, but I guess you can't trust media reports because they're known to be wrong. Evidence proves more than speculation.
9. Contamination of Islamist-Jihadists
Brod ,   USA   (08.12.10)
The Islamist-Jihadists know how to brew their Taqiyya potion and make it so potent that Hariri now believes their crap. The fact is Syria-Hezbollah agents have been the murderers of Lebanese politicians. It is vital that the historic people of Lebanon-the Phoenicians are empowered by the West to liberate their country from the Islamist-Jihadist occupiers.

Markl ,   Lodz, Poland   (08.12.10)
...when Saad Hariri spent a few days under siege in his Beirut compound by Hezbollah, he's been a changed man....without the 'family jewels' Hard to believe that he wouldn't have entertained, at least fleetingly, the idea that his goose was severely cooked. However Hez knew that he was worth more alive...just like his pal Walid Jumblatt. Amazing how fear generates 'alliances'. So sadly, Lebanon and Hezbollah are now one and the same and should be treated as such.. until the head of the snake is removed.
12. Dear Salma (no. 6)
Shaul R ,   Australia   (08.12.10)
Normally I would not comment on your posts - they all tend to be thoughtless, reactionary and childish. And although this one is no exception, it illustrates perfectly the main political problem within the Arab world, one that stamps out any hope for progress and liberalization. In a typical fashion, the Lebanese are willing to sweep all their problems under the rug and instead blame the Jews for all their ills. While the Lebanese civil war may or may not be averted at this point, but may I ask you, at what cost? The guilty will not only go unpunished, but will strengthen their grip on Lebanon, Saad Hariri will crawl in humiliation to kiss the bottoms of his father's murderers, and his country will risk even greater destruction by provoking a war with Israel.
13. to salma
eliya ,   israel   (08.12.10)
Right, no civil war in Lebanon, by blaming who else the Jews...hahaha, Hariri has stabbed his father in the back, i thought Arabs are very family loyal...you'll kill your daughter because she went on a date, but you wont stand up to your fathers killers???? hmmm?
14. More and more
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (08.12.10)
More and more I am sorry that you didn't finish job in 2006. You will have to do it all over again, but this time I am afraid, with much more civilian casualties in Israel.

on Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn from the late Carlo Gambino and his family, I can tell you these people at least had a little honor which can hardly be said for the young Saad.
17. If true, why have they not gone to war with Israel
Cynci ,   USA   (08.12.10)
If Israel killed him certainly that would have been an act of war. How come Lebanon has done nothing about it for 5 years. Harriri Jr. is a pathetic person to kiss the feet of his father's murderers.
18. Exactly what Israel is doing to Pearlman an innocent person.

the fact that there will "be no civil war in lebanon" was made sure by nasrallah who WARNED HARIRI THAT, SHOULD HE GO WITH THE UN TRIBUNAL FINDINGS, NASRALLAH WOULD UNLEASH A TERRORISM AGAINST LEBANON AND WILL ALSO MURDER HARIRI FOR EXPOSING HIZBULLA" hariri is in a tough position if he wants to keep on living, salma. hariri must do what nasrallah said and what nasrallah warned him about. otherwise he will be the second hariri to be murdered by this iranian terrorist organization and by syria. hariri is not a fool. he wants to live. do you really believe that he thinks israel murdered his father, YOU IDIOT!. he is afraid that if he doesn't agree with hizbullah, his turn at blowing up like his father will be done by the same people who murdered his father. only an arab idiot with a low intellect can think like you. hameed aboughaze, iranian
20. Lebanese "progress" toward becoming
seadog1946 ,   Shooters Island, NJ   (08.12.10)
a financial, cultural and tourist draw (as it was prior to the Lebanese civil war) should be thwarted in any possible because it would offer stiff competition to Israel for those same lucrative venues.
21. have you got no dignity ???
david cohen ,   china   (08.12.10)
made prime minister by the grace of the saudis for helping 1 of the princes who has a medicla condition, inexperienced, this hariri is a shame to his family and to his father's memory. his experinced elder brother was supposed to replace his father. first act as a prime minster was to kiss bashir el assad who has hariri's blood on his hands. second act was to bent down to the will of hezbollah. no experience, no dignity, no balls.
22. Nasrallah and his axis of yezer ha-Ra who bear a sign of death upon their heads
Melek ,   Adamah   (08.12.10)
Lebanon was recently spared Gehenna after desperate pleas of mercy were granted by Mighty Israel. Now they want to dip their heads in the abyss by echoing the Iranian puppet yezer ha-Ra- Nasrallah.Hariri has to play the game of musical chairs to survive at the mercy of Iran.It is either Hezbollah way or the highway for Hariri.Pathetic!
23. #1 give Obama credit
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (08.12.10)
Hariri is a victim. His family sided with the Americans hoping to keep Lebanon free and when Assad murdered his father, Hariri wanted to keep fighting. But when Obama sent Clinton to Assad to beg his forgiveness, Hariri had no choice. Hariri knows that Obama sold out the Christians and other free people of Lebanon. Now he must pretend that Assad is innocent of murdering his father to keep his children alive, even though he knows that soon Assad will murder him also. That's what you get when a "community organizer" becomes president.
24. saad come over to the dark side

i am the dark lord your real father, may the farce be with you.....
25. now we know what happended to the 4th stooge
izzie irgun ,   zion   (08.12.10)
moe, larry and curly meet your muslim brother .. and yes the stooges were all jewish ... he's rafik hariri and he believes hezbollah when they say they didn't kill his father but everyone else in the world knows they did ... it is a reamarkable act of stupidity and being played for a fool ... not only is this guy defending his father';s murders, he is helping them spread lies to get away with it ...anyway, for once the europeans are going to get something right and that is that syria and hezbollha killed Hariri and no matter how much phony evidence they try to present it will not change the facts, based on dna, that prove what they did. As long as the son supports and runs interfearence for Hezbollah he will regarded as a stooge ... the father must be rolling over in his grave wondering what a coward and idiot he produced
26. What do you expect
Anonymous ,   TX, USA   (08.12.10)
1-you fill Lebanon with spies. 2-your spies acknowledge they participated in assassinations for Israel. 3-you infiltrated the telecom sector, the same one that the STL was relying on for information. 4-video shows that u have been stalking Hariri's itineraries. 5-one of your top agents was at the murder scene 1 day before the murder. 6-you have a plausible motive for the assasination, as to turn the Lebanese against Syria, getting her out, and make her loose it's most powerful card. 7-Israel refused to sign a cooperation agreement with the STL With all the above who in his right mind. Would not put Israel on the suspect list
