1. Al-Qaeda and all other lunatics can't they just go away?
Palestinian ,   West Bank   (08.15.10)
They bring nothing but pain, agony and hate.
2. Muslims kill Muslims all the time.
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (08.15.10)
Turkey kills Muslims, Al-Qaeda kills Muslims, Hamas kills Muslims then Fatah kills some more Muslims, Shi'ites kill Sunnis, Sunnis kill Shi'ites, there isn't a Muslim country that doesn't kill Muslims. The main victims of Islam are Muslims, I think that's pretty obvious by now. I think it would be safe to say that the biggest cause of death among Muslims are Muslims.
3. KURDS are Moslems too, and Turkey killing lots of 'em
Avi ,   Geneva   (08.15.10)
Turkish government is hypocritical, and so is Al Qaeda. The latter kills Moslems in Iraq, in Arabia, in Yemen, and indeed all over the world. Thei religion is just veneer - they are all just killers.
4. Turkey kills Muslims?
Typical Ynet poster   (08.15.10)
Great, lets all agree with this Islamic terrorist leader so we can use this against the evil backwards Turks who don't want to be our friends anymore just because we killed nine of their civilians. We can now call them hypocrites in our daily turkbashing while we sympathize with the poor kurds who use suicide bombers and attack civilians. That will teach them not to invite us to their feast!
5. He is right!!! Turkey uses CHEMICAL WEAPONS to mass murder
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (08.15.10)
Kurds, and it does so daily, within and without Turkey. And, in addition, it assist the internationally designated Hamas and Hizballah with supplies of weapons and other supporting materials. This is Turkey today, the one hoping to be part of the EU... I suspect that the EU will never accept Turkey into its ranks, and I assume NATO will question the need to have Turkey as part of it. In addition, individual countries, e.g. Canada, US, Germany, France, are likely to reduce trade activities with Erdogan's Turkey and all that Turkey will have will be to trade with Iran, Syria and Gaza... Good luck...
6. Erdogan cannot have it both ways
R ,   Israel   (08.15.10)
See Erdogan? You can't sit on the fence. You tried, but you can't.
7. nobody kills more muslims than the al-qaeda hypocrites
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (08.15.10)
8. Jehudah (no. 5) have you proof?
Ben ,   UK   (08.15.10)
You seem quite sure that Turkey uses chemical weapons to kill PKK Kurds even though Turkey doesn’t have a chemical weapons program. If you knew anything you’d know that Turkey has signed the convention which bans the development of these weapons and has regularly passed international inspections in fact Turkey has no WMD programs and you will not find any international or independent organization that says otherwise. Why have you taken unfounded news reports based on nothing more that photos of burnt bodies as proof that Turkey uses chemical weapons on PKK Kurds? Do you have any conclusive proof that nobody else has or are you just another sucker who will believe anything that suits your agenda?
9. Let's Talk Turkey
Robert Blum ,   New Albany, U.S.A.   (08.15.10)
Rather than expound on the facts that Israel was defending itself against a flotilla which was NOT in international waters and which had NO humaniterian aid, and if that if it was their objective to get aid to the evil Hamas, then it should have been delivered to Ashkelon for transfer to them, and rather than expound upon the evil that Turkey perpetrated against Cyprus and the Greeks and the Armenians AND the Jews, and rather than expound upon th evil of Al Quaeda and their murderous, myopic, self-serving messianists, I want you instead to visit the page below and see what they have done to the Muslim-Kurds. These photos say everything about Turkey! http://hevallo.blogspot.com/2010/08/hevallo-posts-pictures-of-kurdish.html
10. HOW DARE HE INSULT THE RELIGION OF PEACE!!!

12. 8 Hey Ben - all very well saying this.
S Judah ,   Jerusalem   (08.15.10)
but I don't recall you running to defend Israel against all sorts of unsubstantiated accusations which are regularly made against it. Double standards or what?
13. Islam is like Rick Ashley and we keep getting Rick rolled
Yaniv ,   Israel   (08.15.10)
14. # 8 The Green Party of Germany and a newspaper associated
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (08.15.10)
with it reported the use of chemical weapons against the Kurds after having conducted an independent investigation of the matte. Then followed up by Der Spigel of Germany and other news organizations worldwide. Turkey has refused to cooperate with any investigation demanded of it regarding this matter, which only enforces the likelihood that the Turks are mass murdering people with conventional and chemical weapons alike, but the NATO countries prefer at this point to keep their silence, at least in public, for obvious reasons. This does not mean that the rest of us need to accept this silence...!!

jan ,   Jerusalem,Israel   (08.15.10)
In our unfortunate never ending yet futile search for "friends" and international approval we tried to buy Turkish friendship by selling them weapons which they use against the Kurds. It's meant to be anti-terrorist stuff against the PKK-but are we sure? Now look at the results-things changed in Turkey-they are not quite as secular, the flotilla debacle happeneed etc. Could one day our own weapons be used against us. Nothing is a far fetched thought when it comes to our people.
21. Islam brought the foundation of this current civilizations
Tease   (08.15.10)
22. Naughty, naughty Turks.
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (08.15.10)
Israel absolute angels in comparison.
23. Jehudah (no. 14) so you don’t have proof then
Ben ,   UK   (08.15.10)
I asked you if you had proof that Turkey uses chemical weapons and you point to the Green Party and their newspaper and a report by Der Spigel which was rerun and rehashed by other news organizations. None of this proves anything you claim. The only thing confirmed in these reports is that German experts have concluded that the photographs are real photographs beyond that NOTHING is proven. It has NOT been proven that the dead bodies in the photographs are Kurds (Turkish-Kurdish human rights activists >>believe<< the people in the photos are eight members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party). It has NOT been proven that these people died from chemical weapons (saying that it is >>highly probable<< that the eight Kurds died "due to the use of chemical substances."). Even assuming that it was proven that the dead bodies are Kurds and they did die from chemical weapons there is still no proof that is was Turkey that committed this crime it could have been Iran or Syria who have chemical weapon programs unlike Turkey. The allegation (and that is all they are unless actual proof turns up) that Turkey used chemical weapons (which international inspection found that they don’t have) to kill eight rebels last September is only supported by photographs which purportedly depict the dead Kurds. You claim without any proof that Turkey kills Kurds each day with chemical weapon, that’s fine just don’t pretend that you have any proof to back up your wishful thinking just because you don’t like Turkey anymore.
24. #19 That explains it.
Janice Cohen ,   ירושלים   (08.15.10)
Why the world is going down the tubes.
25. @ Ben from UK:
Bat Zion ,   Centre, Israel   (08.15.10)
I am touched by your defence of Turkey in the case of killing Kurdish rebels, even though you yourself don't carry a Turkish name. But I wonder, Ben. You see, many in this world don't treat the images coming from the "studios" of Pallywood with the same level of criticism: they believe them blindly just because they are against Israel. Are you just as critical when it comes to Israel, or is your loyalty given solely to Turkey?
26. I've noticed many of the Turkey defenders
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (08.15.10)
Accuse those who defend the Kurds of hypocrisy. Based on the fact that the Kurds use similar tactics i.e. suicide bombers etc., as the Palestinians. But there are some important distinctions between the two. First, the Kurdish people can be traced back over 2500 years as an independent people. While the Palestinians are a recently invented people...basically didn't exist until the late 1970's...which was why they were never mentioned in UN Resolution 242. Nobody recognized them, they were no different from any other Arabs in the region. In fact most came from the surrounding countries for jobs created by the Jewish people. Those that did live there considered themselves to be Syrians. Second, suicide bombers among the Kurds is a recent development. The first attempted Kurdish suicide bomber...who changed his mind at the last minute...didn't occur until 2002. Interesting side-note: the Kurdish bomber did not go through with it because he thought it was immoral, and, against the teachings of the Koran. Third, the Kurdish do not support these types of terrorist action with the same glee as the Palestinians. Who have parties and pass out candy in celebration of these horrific acts of murder. See 9/11, or the shooting of four Jewish students, studying at a school library. In the Pizza Cafe bombing 73% of the Palestinians supported the killing of 21 children as a legitimate act of "resistance" (the Palestinian euphemism for murder). So the hypocrisy argument goes out the window. Only the recently radicalized Kurds, who do NOT have the popular support of the Kurdish people, and while the Pals have been using suicide bombers since the 1960's...for 50 years...the Kurds did not adopt this tactic successfully until 2003. Plus we can blame the Palestinians for making this mainstream.
27. Look who is talking: as if Al-Qaeda was not killing Muslims!
Joe ,   Canada   (08.15.10)
28. 19.Islam the fastest growing religion in then world
WAKE UP BEFORE TOO ,   LATE   (08.15.10)
and this is reason the Europe,USA,and the the whole world must wake up before Islam takes over and will be govern by Islamic & SHARIA LAW. WAKE UP WORLD BEFORE TOO LATE
29. #21 - you mean the "violent" part of current civilizations?
William ,   Israel   (08.15.10)
Because the intellectual and scientific part of current civilizations clearly comes from pre-Islamic cultures, such as Greeks, Romans, Persians, and Babylonians. Muslims had nothing to do with the European renaissance and growth in scientific advances except for introducing a few concepts that were stolen from Zoroastrians.
30. Ben #23
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (08.15.10)
That proof constitutes a minimum of about a 10,000% more proof of a war-crime than all the accusations that have ever been leveled against us. Accusations that you have gleefully supported and repeated. And that was in face of tens of thousands of documented proofs that showed those very claims to be false. Since the 1960s over 60,000 Kurds and Turks have been killed. Nearly all the Kurds civilians and nearly all the Turks military personnel. That is only ten times the number that have died in the same time period between the Arabs and Israelis. Yet the UN has never even met on the subject. Got any good guesses as to why?
