These soldiers need to be reprimanded to the fullest extent of the law. But even so, it's still too late for us in the face of the international community. I fail to see what all the broohahah is about. In war, "booty" is perfectly legal to be taken by the victor - in case of the Flotilla, - Israel. Remember how the Russians, after entering and conquering parts of Germany, took everything they could possibly lay their hands on, e.g. watches, clocks, typewriters, radios, even machinery which was screwed on to concrete floors, practically part of the Volkswagen car assembly line, etc etc., and nobody raised their eyebrows. I am sure, the British, American, etc did it as well. And so did the Turks whilst their Ottoman empire occupied parts of Europe and Asia. Spoils of war are legal and the Flotilla was an act of war against Israel.

I don't know how the law is applied in Israel but here in Scotland reset is punished identically to the original theft.The soldiers that reset stolen goods are just as guilty as the thieves!
