UNIFIL WAS UNABLE TO PREVENT ARMS SMUGGLING INTO LEBANON ALTHOUGH SHE RECEIVED A MANDATE TO DO JUST THAT THEIR INEPTNESS IS BEING GIVEN A SECOND CHANCE TO FAIL AGAIN

Strange that his excellency Haim Waxman did not mention the several thousand violations of Lebanese territories by the IAF, also in complete violation of the UN 1701 resolution. Maybe he forgot? Or maybe it is diplomatically better to only mention that part of the story that meets one's interests? Go figure... When we reach his level of experience we may understand such ommissions.

Israel asked during the discussion of the UN mandate that the Security Counil increase it,s hold in south Lebanon and fulfill UN Resolution 1701 on the disarmament of Hezbollah ,very clear and unambiguous in it,s wording ,so why is Unifil not doing what was requested,disarming Hezbollah and removing it from south of the Litani river?
