1. No condolences. No responsibility. Just excuses
rebecca ,   Modiin   (08.31.10)
2. US doesn't condemn the attack and tries to put the blame "on
ab   (08.31.10)
both sides" ,a harbinger of things to come should Israel based its security on assurances from America
3. Just like Arafat
Cynthia ,   USA   (08.31.10)
He orchestrated terror attacks to pre-empt peace talks. The murders occured in the West Bank and Abbas along with the PA are responsible. The PA is either unable or unwilling to stop terror. That makes them an accomplice to terror.
4. The proof is in your pudding
galut ,   Selah   (08.31.10)
it seems that you havent checked the ingrediants yet.... there is still a ton of bitterness and Hate you haven't filtered out yet....do that and you will have sucess !
5. "no failure on the paletinian side" wtf??
Malone ,   Hfx   (08.31.10)
On whose side is it then?..the pals murdered 4 people . Is this poor excuse of a man blaming Israel for getting 4 innocent people killed? I think the world is getting tired of the pals...way to late.
6. They're just never responsible for a thing'; are they?
Brant ,   Hilton Head USA   (08.31.10)
7. But did PA say attack was wrong, evil or forbidden?
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (08.31.10)
For years, such attacks have been deemed to "harm the Palestinian cause". But I've yet to hear them characterized as morally wrong, evil, sinful, or forbidden by the Koran. To them, such attacks have only an instrumental quality. The State Department isn't much better. They see them not as an attack on Jews or Israelis, not as murderous acts for which the Palestinians must answer, but rather as "attacks on the peace process".
8. The Arabs did it and now wring their hands
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (08.31.10)
All the while say 'not me, not me'. The truth is yes you. You have done ever to stop the violence, your incitement is daily, your actions caused this. The only way to deal with Arabs is over a gun sight. That is all those primitive morons know, then we need to start giving them what they have been giving us. Since the Arabs outnumber us 100 to 1, we need to take out 400 of them.
9. Abbas is a filthy liar!
Jay3 ,   Israel   (08.31.10)
This has all the trademarks of an Al Aqsa terror attack.....would surprise me if Abbas ordered it himself. He is being forced to the table by Obama and is desperate to find a way to derail the talks. He doesnt want peace....just Israels destruction!
10. NICE RESPONSE FROM ABBAS
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (09.01.10)
Yesterday the conservative side of Israel's government talked about continuing the building freeze ( big concession). the Palestinian response to this peace gesture, they ambushed and killed a family of four, including a pregnant women. Abbas response: no condolences to the families, but is worried it might affect his negotiating position. Nice! Well if you want to be cold about it, fine. Building can resume, and, the Palestinians can't walk away from the direct talks. Because certainly human life is more important than bricks and mortar (building a house). So if Israel stayed after the murder of its citizens, the Palestinians can stay if the freeze if lifted. CASE CLOSED
11. Peace of the brave.....
Yassir Arafat   (09.01.10)
12. PA is to blame. Attack is a direct result of Pal policies
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (09.01.10)
The whining criminal minds of the Palestinian "security" services are trying to worm their way out of this one. Of course the Palestinians are to blame. Of course it's a total failure of the Palestinians to obey international laws and treaties. Of course it's not just a failure, but a condemnation of decades of Palestinian policies. For years, the Palestinians - both Fatah and Hamas - have had official policies urging their people to kill Israeli civilians. Official Palestinian policy is to protect each and every "hero" from arrest and prosecution. Of course it's the Palestinians' fault - they encourage attacks, protect the attackers, and reward the families of any "martyrs" who are killed during attacks on Israeli civilians. Look at the disgustingly vile history of the Palestinians: every time they killed Israeli civilians their leaders (Abbas included) would praise the attackers, blame Israel, and make sure that more and more Palestinians would take up arms to kill as many Israeli civilians as possible. The Palestinians are not our partners for peace. They keep proving it over and over again.
13. Peace
Ricardo Macher ,   Karnei Shomron IL   (09.01.10)
Abu Mazen (militant name of Abbas) doesn't want peace! He knows that the moment they are independent Hamas will take control and their easy life will come to an end. Of course Obama cares only about looking that he did one thing well, but he will fail as well as the forced upon peace talks. Israel should think about realigning in the international scene.
