1. You own the body count, Netanyahu
Steven ,   San Francisco   (09.03.10)
So far it's four honorable souls and one unborn. Plus another two hurt, one in critical condition, and a 14 year old girl in serious condition. And there's more to come. All because you want an agreement. You will get missiles on Ben Gurion Airport just like you got missiles on Sderot. Don't you ever learn or are you incapable of understanding? To paraphrase a song about the USA, "this Land (of Israel) is made for you and me." Anything else is madness and folly.
2. Bibi has no right to give away our land in secret.
Chaim ,   Israel   (09.03.10)
There is only one reason why Bibi wants to keep negotiations private. Something absolutely unacceptable in any democracy. Can you imagine a U.S. President, even Obama. trying to impose this rubbish on Americans? Bibi wants to give away our land in secret. All of Patriotic Israel, especially Likud, must rise up against this abomination.
3. Don't believe everything you read on YNet...
zzzzzzz ,   Anywhere   (09.03.10)
Bibi isn't a fool and he loves Israel. Do you really think Abbas and the idiot PA will ever recognize Israel as the Jewish State and agree to anything at all without a permanent freeze? I say it won't happen, but Bibi's running a great bluff. This is politics.
4. great suff from # 1
yoav ,   boston   (09.03.10)
Netanyahu and obama and ther left that follows you in both countries do you have a soul ? serious Question
5. kaybar agreement? worthless piece of paper? education is the
Jae ,   Lynn US   (09.03.10)
ONLY guarantor........... Revise the PA holocaust denying anti semtic textbook, THEN talk will be of value.
6. 1 He owns Cast Lead 4000 dead and incapacitated
lydia ,   Brisbane   (09.03.10)
Israel owns that body count which included women and children. Of course one can also add the recent deaths by Israel trial by missiles.
7. "leaders making decisions"?!
tom ,   toronto, canada   (09.03.10)
has netanyahu gone completely mad? abbas' term as president of the palestinian anarchy expired in january 2009, almost 2 years ago. he cannot speak for hamas any more than he can set foot in gaza. so he has no authority to make any concessions on behalf of the "palestinians", but only to take, take, take... and then run away from the table. under the circumstances, abbas qualifies neither as a leader nor as a decision maker. so what the hell is netanyahu doing in washington?
8. Mr. PM you are failing at protecting your citizens
USA   (09.03.10)
The lives of your fellow Jews are more important and should be a priority than your desire for an agreement.
9. Oh Lord, here it comes. A Covenant with Death that Daniel
Rivkah   (09.03.10)
warned about. Palestinians don't want peace. They want the destruction of Israel and the death of every Jew and Christian. Stop the talks. It is better to stonewall and win than to agree to a Covenant with Death. PM Rabin signed a peace agreement and he died. PM Sharon signed one and he had a stroke. PM Netanyahu signed one and he lost his office. Only President Shimon Peres has signed a peace agreement with the Palestinians and come out of it alive and with a top job. Better to stonewall and obstruct and refuse to sign than to put the people of Israel at risk. Better to believe God when He said he gave the land including Jerusalem to the Jews than to believe Gentiles who don't believe God.
10. What price a "'peace " agreement ?
DT ,   TA Israel   (09.03.10)
While you engage in an exercise of utter futility, Bibi, Iran draws closer every day to be a full nuke militarty power. Any of your "desired agreements' are likely to be irrelevant at that point
11. At what cost in Jewish blood?
Wise Saba ,   Eretz Yisrael   (09.03.10)
12.  Does... "Discreet "mean "Secret" ?
RolandSeener ,   London England   (09.03.10)
13. Please remind the MKs
Ted   (09.03.10)
like Lieberman, Barak & others to restraint their mouths, from wanting to make headlines and spilling out wrong things to public media.
14. Any politicians
John ,   UK   (09.03.10)
will sign any sort of agreements IF their people are ready to swallow it down. Now. look at yourself - both Israelis and Palestinians. Are you grown up to justify the deeds of your politicians? Are you ready to be divided? Are you ready to live without interfering in your neighbour's matters? If you ARE, your representatives, Abbas and Netanyahu, will end up with signing the paper. Otherwise, please ignore their show and focus on your daily routine.
15. #6 War in Gaza brought to you by Hamas
Cynthia ,   USA   (09.03.10)
Lydia must be competing with Matty Groves over fabricated fatality figures. The IDF identified 1166 Palestinian fatalities with the majority involved with Hamas. Lydia forgets Hamas fired over 8000 kassam and grad bombs at Israel before Israel went to war with Hamas.
16. PEACE PROCES, the movie...sequel????
tiki ,   belgium   (09.03.10)
The "movie was launched with a BIG BANG. All the 'actors played their part, participated in the PR (mainly for the director/producer, who have another big project coming in November). Problem....people didn't like the movie and didn't come to see it.
17. The very truth:
Yehuda   (09.03.10)
The peace among Jews and Arabs is a holy nonsense. It has never been in the past and never will ever be in the future. - - - - - - - - - - - - The Temple will be rebuild only when all Jews repent. Do you see any sign of repentance? That's the answer on the question about the future of Jews...
18. The heat & pressure are on!
Cameron ,   USA   (09.03.10)
Whatcha gonna give? Whatcha gonna get?
19. Slogans
Alexandre Chinovich   (09.03.10)
We'd prefer to be without Bibi than without Jerusalem. We'd prefer to be without Bibi than without our land. We'd prefer to be with Bibi than with hordes of Palestinian refugees.

23. Why don't the people of Israel take to the

streets in every city, town and village. Demand that bibi resign and demand that barak and peres also resign. We need new elections and we need a p.m. with the guts to say not one c.m. more to the palis or anyone else. We need a leader to stand up to the jihadist obumma, hitlery clinton, the arab senator michell and candy ass jim jones. Not to mention to the eurabian union and the so.korean waldheim, half moon.
24. We wanna hear that Erdogan condems

the killing of 4 israeli civillians in an efford to prevent the peace negotiations.
25. :: Cynthia - #15
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (09.03.10)
Cynthia you really need to learn how to read properly and not just pick the words that suit your preconception. If you take another look you will see that Lydia stated that: “He owns Cast Lead 4000 dead *and incapacitated*”. Even to a third grader this would clearly mean that the figure of “4,000” related to the number of Gazans killed *and* wounded/maimed. Actually Lydia was understating the figures as the accepted figure for the number of Gazans killed and wounded in Op Cast Lead is approx 6,700. You will of course shriek “Show your sources, show your sources so I can check them!”, you do this of course because you cannot dispute any stats or figures without first trying to discredit the sources as ‘anti-Semitic’. This is a typical juvenile ploy used by Ynuts who can’t move beyond their paranoia and fear of leaving their pro-Israeli comfort zone.
26. Bibi: restriction on people movement in liberated Palestine
observer   (09.03.10)
Natanyahu said: "as Palestinians wants us to recognize their state as home land for Palestinians, we demand their recognition of our state as homeland for Jews". Who said that Palestinian want it a homeland, Palestinians want it non-racial for all religions. nothing like homeland for Muslims, they want. Then, Saudi Arabia has to invite Muslims in their land? Vatican and Protestant Church have to invite Christians into Palestine? Israel wants to have the word whether Palestinian refugees return to liberated state or not. Palestine is not Muslims' nor Jewish. Palestine is for Palestinians. what about Zion? the promised land is a loaded term, the promised land is anywhere where the righteous faithful lives. The term Zion has at least four meanings having to do with two different parts of Jerusalem, with Jerusalem itself, but also generally talking “about the people of Israel who viewed Jerusalem and the Temple as their religious center.” So while one hand holds Zion as a place, the other hand holds it as a people. The One G-d's promised land goes beyond our terms, our limiting to it. Zion for the Christians is their church, Zion for the Mormons is Utah,USA.
27. #25 LOL! Matty's imposter is hilarious
Cynthia ,   USA   (09.04.10)
Luv the way Matty's imposter mocks his compounding fatality figures. Soon Matty's fatality figures will exceed the population of Gaza.
28. Agreement with whom, and about what Bibi?
chris ,   porthmadog   (09.04.10)
Despite his "no Jews allowed " policy PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas still demands the “right of return” for hundreds of thousands of Palestinians and their descendents to Israel. A Jewish nation whose Arab citizens already constitute 20% of it's population, have the right to vote and be represented by Arab parties in the Knesset. At the Washington talks this week Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said "...We must learn to live together, live next to one and another, and with one another...". Yet Palestinian leader Abbas has recently reiterated in Cairo that "...I will never agree that there will be a single Israeli among us on Palestinian soil..." If Jews were allowed to remain in a future state of Palestine, with a guarantee of the same rights that Israel gives to Arabs within it's own borders, there would be no need to remove the so called 'settlements' or any necessity to halt peace talks over Israeli construction building in Jerusalem. Indeed, if the true priority of the Arab world is nationhood for the Palestinian people, instead of just ridding themselves of the Jews, then a negotiated settlement could rapidly arise. If the 14% of 'settlers' living among 2.2 million Palestinians are an obstacle to peace, why are 1.4 million Arab citizens in Israel no risk to the 6 million Israelis? While the evacuation of Israeli Arab villages is seen as a violation of human rights, how can the evacuation of Jewish 'settlements' in the West Bank be any different? We must wait and see if the world has been duped into believing that a peaceful coexistence is being sought by the Palestinians or the implementation of the unchanged Fatah charter of 'moderate' Mahmoud Abbas which declares "...this struggle will not cease unless the Zionist state is demolished and Palestine is completely liberated...".
29. #6 Lydia Brisbane
Doug R ,   Gwent, UK   (09.04.10)
Israel ceded Gaza in good faith for peace. It got hell on earth. It's former towns were turned into terrorist training camps and the Gaza populace voted into power a terrorist entity sworn to Israel's destruction. After 8 years of missile fire against it's own Jewish civilians - including 12,000 missiles + mortars - Israel eventually retaliated against Hamas which was operating from behind and amongst civilians. Even then the targeted areas were warned beforehand of an Israeli strike. Check out British Col Richard Kemp's address to the UN on Youtube or the net about this for some context instead of propaganda. Every one of the 12,000 Palestinian missiles was meant to kill or maim. If one missile had killed one Israel 12,000 fatalities would have ensued. Clearly for some people not enough Jewish civilians have been killed. Perhaps Israel should have followed suit and just indiscriminately launched 12,000 missiles into Gaza's towns and villages. But that is not the issue, it's the denial of Israel's right to self defence and the condoning of those who seek to destroy them.
30. # 26,that is repalcement theology
chris ,   bangor,wales   (09.04.10)
Friend, your taking Scripturs promised and spoken about Israel and applying them to the Mormon church! let me remind you that Jesus never spoke of Physical Jerusalem and the land of Israel as the promise land for his Disciples or the church,he made it clear that the Physical city was to remain Israel's and the church is suppose to look unto the Holy heavenly Zion. the old testament Scripturs tells us over and over that the Ancient people of Israel would return after 2 Days according to HOSEA 6:2 "After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence." This is speaking of 2 thousand years Approx: There is two Scripturs,One in the old and one in the New telling us to the Lord,a day is as a thousand years. I could give you 140 Prophecies speaking of Israel the people, the Ancient people returning..this cannot be applied to the Church or gentiles or mormons,But to a people who once fell, but will be again restored,Clearly this can only apply to Israelis AND THEIR LAND That fell in AD-70..Add 2000 years and we will see Isarel's redemtion. Jesus spoke of jerusalem Returning in the last days back to the Jews Luke21:29 (1967) Jer 30&31 SPEAK of a Rreturn of the people who fell, again this cannot be applied to the Church or to any other group. peace!
