Much more than coming to Israel, I think those Jews living in America who care for Israel, can benefit Israel better by staying in America and influencing the American people and government in favor of Israel. This is an invaluable service, without which America wouldn't be as good a friend for us. Otherwise America would treat us the same way Britain does... And as the American Jewry is already rapidly depleting due to assimilation, there is no need to deplete it even further by having them immigrate to Israel.

Those Jews staying in America have no say in what America does, the Jewish vote is negligible and no politician has to care whether he or she carries it. What keeps the U.S. supporting Israel is that milllions of non-Jewish Americans- most of whom never met a Jew or an Israeli- support Israel.

In case you mean US financial support by the state, there wouldn't be much of a change in case that stopped, because a high percentage of the cash goes back straight to US taxpayers anyway. EU won't fund anybody but weirdo NGOs and leftist bleeding hearts, absolutely correct, so the money will come in from other places, I guess, if necessary.

I'd sooner see the ultra-orthodox, who donate absolutely nothing to Israel, but the forcing of silly laws made for barbarians leave this place. I would say that they should be sent to America, but America has enough parasites on its financial system as is. They don't need ours. While the ultra leftists are indeed silly and shouldn't be treated as anything more than rebellious teenagers, they don't suck the marrow from the working population's bones dry.
