Hey Mr. Green...Neither you nor the many frustrated Iran haters can do anything about this.... You got nerve..or guts..go ahead and start BANGING the WAR drums... and go ahead and move to a settlement and sepecially when the fracas starts..
3. How's this different from AIPAC making "donations" to party?
Jake ,   USA   (09.15.10)
AIPAC makes "donations" (bribery) to US congressmen and nobody makes a fuss about it.If this story's true, which is highly doubtful, then think Iran's learning from AIPAC and their shils in Washington DC..Who says AIPAC should have monopoly on "donations"?
4. To #3, Jake
Charles ,   Paris   (09.15.10)
Iran is a sovereign government developing nuclear weapons; AIPAC has no power other than persuasion. Perhaps you need to take a civics course.
5. No. 3 Jake
NYC Girl   (09.15.10)
First of all, AIPAC doesn't have any damned monopoly. It's merely one of many organizations that make donations to parties and candidates, including the NRA, which is actually the most powerful lobby in this country. But it's all perfectly legal under our system. Not only that, but if you as an American can even equate an organization like AIPAC to the genocidal regime in Iran that has aided the insurgents who've been killing our soldiers in Iraq and would like nothing better than to inflict its radical version of Islam on this country, then obviously you're the one with the problem. .
6. This is yet another indication of where Iran is heading...
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (09.15.10)
...and Europe is silent, as is the Obama's U.S. Isn't it high time the liberal democratic world opened its eyes, ears, mind and heart...??!!
7. #2 Mr Green is just angry because he had to escape iran
Peter ,   Vienna-Austria   (09.15.10)
I know many of these so called Green Activists here in Austria, who fled iran fearing their lives. They are nothing but cowards who can only talk and act tough when they are hundreds of miles away from the danger zone. Some of them even fear giving out their names and even worse, some other refuse to be in a photo, because they fear this would make it dangerous for them to go visit iran. Pathetic!!!!
8. To #4,Charles
Jake ,   USA   (09.15.10)
And Israel's DIMONA and other nuclear reactor's for manufacturing cookies, candies and chocolate bars right?Based on your argument, it's OK for AIPAC to give bribes for "persuasions",right?.People with this kind of logic are the ones destroying America today...Boy!! ignorance can be fixed but stupidity certainly has no cure..
9. Brave Peter # 7
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (09.15.10)
They have good reason for their fears. I suppose a brave guy like you would in the same sort of situation (say under a system led by Adolph Hitler) speak out from your home, post pictures of yourself, and not worry about yourself or you family. Go ahead and tear these poor people down if it will make you feel bigger and braver. The Green Activists are not the pathetic ones here Peter, you are.
10. with IRANT'S SUPER INFLATION AND HUGE DEFICITS = NO BUCKS
JEWBIE ,   NYC USA   (09.15.10)
A LOT OF BALONEY... IRAN IS NOTORIOUS FOR IT'S PLEDGES OF MILLIONS AND IT'S NON=DONATIONS AND IT'S DOLLAR FOLLOW THROUGH A BIG FAT ZERO....JUST FOR SHOW...LIKE THE PA STILL BEGGING THEM TO FULFILL THEIR BOASTS OF FUNDS...YEAH RIGHT
11. Turkey for Sale...Bid $25M..Sold to Iran!
Asher ,   NY,USA   (09.15.10)
12. But did the Telegraph provide any proof?
Persian CAT   (09.15.10)
Of course not. "The report comes just days after Erdogan scored a landslide victory in a referendum on a reform in Turkey's constitution." That says it all.
13. Hmmm
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.15.10)
"Agreed" to donate? As distinct from "volunteered" to donate? Interesting.
14. Jake #2 - Very much different
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (09.15.10)
In the USA these donations are legal and AIPAC is only one small contributor. The tobacco, pharmaceutical and gun (NRA) lobbies are much much bigger and stronger then the AIPAC. In fact teh Arabs contribute huge sums also as cash and gifts. It is a well known fact that the members of the Saudi family (inluding the ex ambassador to Washington and the ex ambassador to the UN) often fly many members of the congress to their mansions in Palm Springs and Aspen Colorado (now for sale for over 100 million dollars). It is also well known fact that Saudis contribute huge sums to the presidential library projects of all ex US presidents, Democrat and Republican.

Dan Salomons ,   Ramat Gan   (09.15.10)
Dear Jehudah, not only another indication of where Iran is heading, but also beheading! Medieval ignorant foes of HaShem! צום קל
16. Jake
Solomon ,   Bklyn   (09.15.10)
Iran is developing nuclear weapons in order to wipe other countries off the map (not 'just' Israel). If that was Israel's aim, it would have done it long ago. In fact with all the wars the Arabs started, Israel fought each one against almost (thank G-d) overwhelming odds and still has not resorted to nuclear weapons. Let me refer you to your own talkback: "ignorance can be fixed but stupidity certainly has no cure."
17. Not Iran, ISRAEL will fund Erdogan's re-election campaign
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (09.15.10)
PM Erdogan, despite his quarells in surface, is primary supporter of Zionist Israel All his stand up against Israel, is in fact to cover up his and his financier businessmen' deep relations with Israell.
18. OH NO,SARAH IT WON'T BE..............#13
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (09.15.10)
Very interesting to you at all.Whether agree or volunteered, the end result is bound to upset you. :)
19. Tayfun - Neither Israel nor Jews will give money to Erdogan
David Israel ,   New York, USA   (09.15.10)
so that he is re elected (Maybe one or two misguided individual Jews in Turkey might in order to advance their business relations with the government). However billions of dollars are flowing to AKP and Erdogan from Arab countries as you cal lit the GREEN CAPITAL. You also know that Fethullah Gulen (The Islamist sect leader residing in PA) provided huge sums of money and 50 thousand people in support of last week's referendum in Turkey. So please stop your nonsense and focus on the facts. Your real enemy is Arab states, Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas and Islamic Green Capital.
20. To David, Some facts About AKP finance
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (09.15.10)
Despite I have no info their finance details I know their way of working. They will NEVER GET any money from ANY Country, first that is a solid ground to CLOSE a party in Turkey, as it is forbidden to receive donation from Foreigners. AKP's style is rather relying on Businessman doing business with other countries, Israel will certainly not GIVE MONEY to AKP or AKP will NOT ACCEPT money from ISRAEL but an AKP supporter Businessman will get Awards of tenders from Israel and do other kind of business and they will pay contributions to AKP in turn. That is a legitimate cycle of donation to AKP So you have to look into Businessmen doing business with Iran and Israel, You will immedatily see real benefactor of AKP is Israel as almost all Big Businessman supporters of AKP making big money in Israel, For example Owner of Sabah Newspaper, a pro-AKP media, Kucukcalik is getting so large contracts in Israel that any Israeli local business man may envy, Lastly Fettulah Hoca's power is not about 50 000, but he has approximaetly 3 million supporters in Turkey or vote base as I heard. I respect Fettulah Hoca, and his support to AKP is nothing to do with real ideological alignment with AKP For example Fettullah Hoca heavily CRITIZED FLOTILA organization and he said Israeli reaction was almost normal as Israel was challanged as sovergn state-That is published in an American Newpaper(Despite I respect Fettullah hoca, I was quite displeased with his that critics of Flotila organization)
21. #7 Mahmoods Hand Puppet Speaks
Hal ,   Usa   (09.15.10)
Voila! Pietro re-appears. How convenient my boy. You seem to know quite a bit about cowards. How nice that you post your calumnies from Vienna of all places. Feel safe there Pietro? You pretty much confirm the dark side to the deadend regime in Iran. They can't stand criticism of any kind. Like you Pietro, they have an obvious "glass jaw". You seem pleased that people who don't agree with the crimminals in Teheran are afraid to speak publicly. How nice of you to make the arguement for me. As to "talking tough from hundreds of miles away from the danger zone", when will you leave your comfort zone and shahid yourself O' wiseone? Perhaps you will take Mahmood with you?
22. #18 Mahmood
Hal ,   Usa   (09.15.10)
Mahmood, are you well? Your rambling gibberish is more confusing than ever. Seek help from a trained professional. At the rate you are going, only grunts and noxious sounds will be heard.
23. #22..Hal Usa
Malone ,   Hfx   (09.16.10)
What a useless post. Do you have any original thoughts or views to express. Though not!
24. FACTS STILL REMAIN THE SAME,HAL....#22
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (09.16.10)
That, irrespective of whether it is a volunteer or agreed payment,it is upsetting you.You could not finish your reaction in your talk-back Number 21 and, therefore, became more abusive in 22. I can imagine your rage................but it will not change the facts...........that is why Sarah has absorbed it on face value. What else do you have in store,Hal?
