Fact is the 10 month freeze was pointless from the start, Obama pressed them on the issue, and now it has come back to bite him in the ***, I remember when he was running for office, and it was a question mark whether he would focus his foreign policy around the Iranian Nuclear program or the Palestinian issue, then when he got into office he pressed Israel on the freeze, now that were a month away from mid term elections it seems that not only does the collapse of the American economy continue to look more imminent but that the negotiations have collapsed as well, I don't like to be negative but really seems as though this guy screws up more then Bush. That being said, it was ridiculous to press Israel on the freeze when the Palestinians still said it wasn't enough, and it's ridiculous to expect Israel to continue the freeze when the Palestinians will not accept a Jewish state, if you want the moratorium to continue then talks need to be progressing, No government can be expected to impose such restrictions on its own citizens and communities for negotiations, especially when Jewish sovereignty over Israel is being negotiated, How could any citizen of any state accept that of there own government?
