Most sane people are happy to learn that the Israeli navy has intercepted another boat head for Gaza full of misquided do-gooders. The Gaza Strip is controlled by a hateful regime determined to destroy the State of Israel and drive out all the Jewish inhabitants but some foolish people obviously cannot see what is in front of them. These people have become tools of Hamas et al who no doubt most be having a good laugh at such useful idiots. Those behind the sponsorship of these Gaza Blockade boats probably want to determine Israel's military responses so that they can plan a much larger and more sophisticated attack on Israel's genuine security needs. If people want to assist those in the Gaza Strip with essential humanitarian supplies, no doubt a warehouse can be established at the Israeli Ashdod port and from there the supples can be transported to the Gaza Strip.

As for the law, well Great Britain blockaded the then Palestine to prevent Jews from getting year after the Holocaust and even wanted to send the back to the Concentration Camps! They even blockaded Cyprus to stop the refugee ships from leaving. The USA blockaded Cuba. The Arabs blockaded the Suez Canal and the USSR blockaded West Berlin! NO! It is heartening to see that some Jews disagree with the mass collective punishment that Israel is inflicting upon the civilian population of Gaza. Since the early 1990’s Israel has tightened it stranglehold on Gaza and denied the civilian population basic food items, medical equipment, medicine, freedom of movement etc. It is tragic to think that over half a million innocent children in Gaza have never known a minute of freedom as they have been born under Israeli military occupation. If only more Israelis were like these brave Jews an end to the conflict would come sooner than later and a peaceful Two State solution would be in place.

Israel tried to do that many times. First in 1947 but Arabs did not accept the partitioning, they wanted all. After the 1967 war Israel immediately asked for recognition for peace but Arabs still wanted all and refused. in 2000 at Camp David Israel again gave the Palestinian Arabs the WB and Gaza with East Jerusalem as their capital but it was refused by Arafat. If the Arabs are sincere about two states for two people and recognize Israel as the state of the Jewish people the issue can be solved.
