As much as Shapira wants to sing the songs of abuse for his Lefty audience, tasers are not considered a violent weapon. Law enforcement uses them all the time...usually when they confront resistance which I am sure Shapira exhibited. I doubt very highly that this group welcomed the IDF on-board and gave up peacefully. The IDF have records showing twice the captain refused orders to halt. Shapira might not be able to sleep at night because of the fate of Gazans (too many Xbox controllers, wide-screen TVs, full food stands, and lack of advanced weaponry, I guess)....but I can't sleep at night because my fellow citizens live in fear in Sderot and Ashkelon each day.

Israel is not doing anything to the arabs in Gaza. Their own people are doing to them. They should be asking hamas where the money is going, where the supplies are going, where the food is going. Hamas knows . . . And while you;re at it, Ruven, a little pity for the Jewish community you used to belong to . . . the ones murdered by arabs so filled with hate the can't live any more. A hate fanned by their own arab people. A hate that only stops when they need medical care or something else that their arab brothers won't give them.

Do these people know what a Taser is? It is a L.T.L. weapon (less than lethal). We use these in the event that a crowd or individual needs to be controlled. It is generally not dangerous, and that is why it is referred to a s less than lethal. As my friend Sarah B mentioned, the IDF did not use bullets as there was no reason to. Who knows if they even did deploy Tasers or were they just carrying them?
