It is not about what US and Europe want. Israel wants peace, but the arabs keep walking out. They don't want peace and they don't want piece, they want ALL of Israel.

Abbas is for most part keeping to the Roadmap agreement and that is now a real problem for US/Quartet. Abbas will stay with limited talks until after US election but will stop if no freeze by then and will be in the right per Roadmap. The US/Quartet could pressure Israel to restart freeze but Israel Gov. likely to fail and force new elections which would delay talks also.

Every single goal of these talks is disastrous for Israel. Israel should make it official that we don't want to talk to Abbas. Let Obama and the E.U. beg us to talk to the worthless terrorist.
