... of all those incredibly talented world-famous turkish singers. there are so many of them, I don't know where to begin... and not just singers, think of all those nobel-winning turkish geniuses - turkey has contributed so much to humanity! thank you turkey. where would the world be without you?! rofl!

Jealousy gets you nowhere. He is a great artist and he is talented. Art knows no grave and any person with an ounce of culture knows that. Example in case you still do not get it: Mozart is much older and really in the graveas are so many other artists/musicians We love him extra it is true as he is one of us.

There was also Hayati Kafe who was very successful in Europe, also Jewish. Dario Moreno was from Izmir, grew up with my parents. He visited Izmir every year where he had a sister and a brother in law who was a very good tailor next to my father's office. I remember him very well from those days. He had a velvet voice. His most famous song in Turkey was 'CANIM GUZELIM IZMIR'

He made many records in French, Italian, Spanish, played in many movies one opposite to young Brigitte Bardot, in 1958 won the Grand Prix du Disque in France. Before he died he was casted to play in Man De La Mancha musical as Sancho Pancho. His most famous songs were Cherie Jae t'aime and Ya Msutafa Ya Mustafa. Maybe you are too young to remember.
