He was supremely arrogant, and made an entangled mess of the situation with the Arabs which we have not extricated ourselves from to this day.
He, and Mr. S. Peres, in their blind enthusiasm for appeasing the Arabs, only ended in pumping up their expectations beyond reason and, in his/their righteous deafness, ignored the pleas of the great mass of Jews in Israel and their concerns.
No Israeli Prime Minister was ever more dismissive and disparaging of the Israeli public, and less democratic, than he.
