1. Rabin Made A Mess
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (10.04.10)
He was supremely arrogant, and made an entangled mess of the situation with the Arabs which we have not extricated ourselves from to this day. He, and Mr. S. Peres, in their blind enthusiasm for appeasing the Arabs, only ended in pumping up their expectations beyond reason and, in his/their righteous deafness, ignored the pleas of the great mass of Jews in Israel and their concerns. No Israeli Prime Minister was ever more dismissive and disparaging of the Israeli public, and less democratic, than he.
2. Thank G-d
Rivka ,   north Israel   (10.04.10)
A prime minister that really had no legacy and was about to lose the elections big time. What a big deal was made of him . The rallies only served to divide the populous even more. Thank G-d they are coming to an end
3. memorial
colin   (10.04.10)
Finally somebody has come to thier sences. Nobody needs a Rabin memorial day. He was maybe the worst prime minister Israel produced He and the unelected peres caused more damage than good for Israel
4. HaShem's patient is so great to tolerate
Yehuda ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (10.04.10)
a population's ignorance of following a worthless cause for 15 years.
5. Rabin Memorial
Ros ,   Tel Aviv   (10.04.10)
He was one of the greatest leaders and zionist our country has had. He wanted peace any any conditions except the division of Jerusalem and he was killed for it - this is the same peace that is being discussed today!!!! The day should be marked no matter how - perhaps a day of dancing and singing about the love of our country - that would be a memorial befitting Rabin!
6. Rabin Memorial
jeremy ,   hula valley kibbutz   (10.04.10)
It's about time to end it, enough with the celebration of a dead man. Tragic as it was, no other country does this for a leader, and besides all it does every year is remind us how divided our country is over the peace process and between left and right. The guy is dead, get on with life
7. Rabin memorial rally
George Weiss ,   Teaneck, USA   (10.04.10)
The mess that israel finds itself in today is largely due to the misguided agreement rabin made with Arafat. Before, the Arabs had no guns, no rockets; only rocks. Now they threaten almost every inch of israel. How can anyone honor susch a man?
8. what a waste of money holding these memorial rallies
zionist forever   (10.04.10)
Rabin is dead holding rallies won't bring him back and they won't influence government policy. The man was a was the founder of oslo an agreement that has brought both Israel and the palestinians nothing but death & misery and even the left now admit oslo failed. This rally is nothing but a waste of time and money.
