... the U.S. is way behind the eight ball. I still remember when the United States thought a diplomatic solution to Iraq's nuclear ambitions was possible. They kept on asserting the same right up until the time that Israel destroyed the Osirac reactor in Baghdad. Would have been quite a different Gulf war in 1991 if Israel hadn't done that, now, wouldn't it? Think of all the Coalition servicemen and women that did NOT come home in body bags, thanks to tiny little Israel. And now, with respect to Iran, Israel will save civilization yet again. It would -- just once -- be nice to hear a "thank you" expressed in gratitude to the Jewish state for yanking the world's chestnuts out of the fire YET AGAIN. Just once.

There is no diplomatic solution for one simple reason: Iran has no motivation to give up on nukes which are the only weapon which will protect them from American aggression. But this opinion is very convenient. Now Obama will be able to justify attacking Israeland in two years, the poor sucker who inherits Obama's mess will need to deal with a nuclear-armed Iran.

Disobeys us. The very least would be that from now on there would be no spare parts for their planes. I sure wish to see their planes go up with out the spare parts they need. I don't think any israeli military or politician would ever want that. This problem shall be solved diplomatically. Whether israel likes it or not. Honestly,who would gives a damn about what a spoiled brat(A.K.A israel) would think for that matter. All in all,the Obama administration is doing a fine job on this particular issue.

The Obama administration & the IAEA don't seem to have the same opinion about things. The IAEA believe Iran may already have enough enriched uranium to make 2 bombs. Everytime the State Department look into the matter they keep saying we have years so there is no rush to do anything and we can continue to rely on diplomacy. Iran has been enriching uranium for years now and the bomb developers would have been working side by side on the project. As a result Iran is probably close to it doesn't have the knowledge to built a nuke. When it comes to Iran and terror Obama acts like an ostrich and bury his head in the sand to hide from reality and tells himself there is nothing to worry about everything is going just fine. Time to stop kidding ourselves Iran won't get a nuke, there was never a will to stop it and so the world allowed itself to be played for fools and soon Iran will get their nukes. The legacy of the president who wants to see a nuclear weapons free planet will be a nuclear Iran.

I didn't mean to say nobody would appreciate it; some will, and more important, Israel's image would improve. All the chasing after approval by making concessions gets us absolutely nowhere. I am not terribly concerned about Israel's image in the world, chiefly because Israel is the Jewish State and anti-Semitism has simply morphed into anti-Israel sentiment. You are quite right that all of Israel's concessions -- while the "Palestinians" make none -- has not won us anything. We have, on the other hand, made the world safer -- we destroyed Iraq's nuclear ambitions, Syria's nuclear ambitions and it would appear that Israel has also managed to neutralize the greatest threat faced by civilization today -- Iran -- without the loss of a single life. What could possibly be of greater morality than that?

Why only two years left for Israel to take action against Iran,s nuclear threats; ;that,s how long the looney left Democrats have left in the US govt. and Obama wouldn,t want to go down in US history as the most incompetent,inept President of all times although Jimmy Carter is very close to it ; just biding his time (Obama ) waiting to see the results of November midterm elections and the rapid demise of his looney administration when he can then blame Israel for all his problems ?

It's because of Israel that those countries wanted nuclear weapons in the first place! Iran is the greatest threat, my butt. If Iran was anything like Israel, then the war that you're preparing to initiate would've already started.
