If Merridor is so worried about alienation why doesn't he have any problem with the fact that national symbols are all jewish, working week is based in jewish law, the language is hebrew. As we all know there is NO such thing as a "right" of return. It simply does NOT exist, period. But where there are references (not rights, but suggestions) to Arabs or Jewish people being allowed to return to their homes after the 48 or 67 wars, or be compensated. It clearly is stated to be a two part arrangement. First, the people(Arab or Jewish) must want to return. Second, and more important, those wishing to return, MUST state they will live in peace with their neighbors. Again, as we all know, the Arabs who wish to return to Israel, want Israel's destruction. Therefore, they lose all reason for a return. Nobody would seriously expect any country to take in a hostile population. A group who are dedicated to destroying the country they say they want to return to. The very idea is ludicrous. So when it comes to this question, the answer is obvious, there will be no return to Israel. But only to the new Palestinian state they insist they want. So just as Israel absorbed all Jewish refugees, the new Palestinian state will absorb all Arab refugees.

Everybody that immigrates to any country in the entire world except Israel has to take a special oath. That is the issue. We are the only nation in the world without one.
