31. #25 Fiction
Ehoop ,   UK   (10.14.10)
Horst, is that W? Actually Israel argued against invading Iraq and in favour of taking action against Iran. If only that advice had been followed! And no, Gaza wasn't crippled and Hamas forces there wouldn't have been attacked had they not remorselessly rocketed S'derot over a period of years, targeting times when the schoolchildren were on the streets. Then they boasted of their own use of human shields and of their own people's preference for death over life.
32. #3 - Didn't same Israeli doctors save Pal's lives?
William ,   Israel   (10.14.10)
and then the "Palestinian" patients returned with a suicide belt to blow them up?? Just goes to show you - not all Arabs share your core belief in racist terrorism you unleashed on the world. Nasrallah said it best (and described you to a T) - "they (Jews) love life while we welcome death".
33. #6 - Haitians seemed to be happy with it
William ,   Israel   (10.14.10)
Even CNN and BBC couldn't ignore covering the only operating field hospital in the earthquake torn area, and they NEVER give credit to Israel. So whom to believe - some racist yokel or thousands of Haitians who both thank and admire Israel for saving lives. It's a no-brainer!
34. #25 - care to provide facts, Horst?
William ,   Israel   (10.14.10)
"Zionist lobby"? Gee - no surprise where your bias lies. One thing you did miss was Israel's insistence that Iraq was NOT really the problem in the Middle East, rather Iran was (is), and Iraq should not be invaded. To blame "Zionists" would only take the thunder away from Democrats who insist every American ill is the fault of George W. Bush. And despite the biased nature of the Goldstone Report, it does mention the use of human shields by Hamas, along with civilian infrastructure as weapon depots and the placement of IEDs next to civilian buildings which is against Intl Law. Amnesty International called it all a war crime. If Hamas came out in the open to fight instead of hiding behind kids and their houses, I wonder how many civilians would be hurt? My guess - none.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, wasn't Israel the very first country to arrive in Haiti with their full support? I think I am correct!

You and the censorship masters can't handle the facts ,...
37. Great organization
Tehila ,   Israel   (10.18.10)
I've been following the Shevet Achim organization for several years (since 2004). They consistently bring children in from Iraq and the Gaza strip and have full cooperation from Israeli doctors who are glad to help these children. Nobody wants to see children hurt, least of all the Israelis. I highly commend Shevet Achim for their work, and the Israeli Doctors and hospitals for not only heavily subsidizing life-saving surgery on these precious children, but for fighting for their lives when the surgeries are not 100 percent successful, and weeping with their parents when they don't make it through. This is not a one-time case of philanthropy to make a public statement, but an ongoing effort being done by an established organization working in the region for years. Look their website up if you want. This is not, incidentally, the only organization doing this kind of work in Israel, there are many extending hope and the hand of friendship to our Arab neighbors. I am not aware of any efforts on the Arab nations part to do the same for their weaker neighbors.

We see what goes on and we pray for you. We speak up for you when we can, and do our best to educate those around us to see the truth behind the news stories. You are not alone.

Ryan ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (10.18.10)
Dear All, Thanks for the flurry of support and censure for Shevet Achim. No, we are not a one-time publicity stunt...click the link to see the other children from Kurdistan and Iraq who are currently in Israel for life-saving heart surgery: http://www.shevet.org/childrennowinisrael.html
40. #25 horst
Itsik ,   london   (10.19.10)
Horst, you are being a mouthpiece of conspirecy theories. Get a life in the REAL world. The operation (call it war if you wish) in Gaza was not taken lightly and was done after 8 long years of suffering created by the Hamas regime. the Israeli government pre Iraq war official advice to the US states dept was that if an invasion must take place they should be focusing on Iran. Guess who the US listened to? An Iraqi operative. No wonder they went to war there...

Oh clever you! We couldn't handle the facts. And silly old me thought the Zionists ran the planet while all along it was you... Well, I just think since you know everything about everything you must be the one running the show?! Are you not?
42. #14 you are misguided to say the least
Kelvin ,   New York   (10.29.10)
Israel does not kill children in Gaza, that function is handled by Hamas, who hide behind them while they are young and convince them to be suicide bombers when they are teenagers
