Convinced ,   Europe   (10.14.10)
rise of the new anti-islam sentiments in Sweden Netherlands Svitzerland France and Germany and the rest of Europe, I would like to say, this is only the begining. You guys are celebrating too early. The new right in Europe is not so new at all. Its the "old" new right disguised under the anti-burqa and anti-roma wave. Think again about supporting these new-right Wilders and Co&. and similar parties. You are helping them to rise again in Europe, after decades of being shut out they dare to crowel out of their holes to the light of day. Think twice before you encourage them!

Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (10.14.10)
If this "opinion poll" is no surprise to you, you can probably explain to us the result of the last Bundestag election in 2009. The only right-wing party is the NPD with 1.8% (and this is more of a protest against Angela Merkel than an expression of a "right" attitude in the population). Germany in 2010 is somewhere between left and extreme left. You shouldn't talk about things you know nothing about.
10. What Israel Does Affects How People Feel About It
World Citizen ,   the world   (10.14.10)
This rise in what Jews call "anti-Semitism" is in large part a reaction to what Israel is doing to the Palestinian people and to all Arabic-Muslim people in the Middle East. It is also a reaction against Talmudic Judaism or Pharaism and the idea of Jewish supremacy. No one like being called a goy. No one likes being considered cattle. Nothing happens in a vacuum. Think about it.
11. #1 you are so right! Once a Nazi always a Nazi!
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (10.14.10)
What is interesting is that the Muslims are the first target. Of course we all know that once the "Muslim Problem" is solved they will once again turn on the Jews. Nazism and Neo-Nazism is on the rise and so many are just to stupid to realize it. The writing is on the wall in most parts of the world, from Russia to South America, from South Africa to the North America and Australasia! That is why Israel is here and Israel is the Jewish State and the home, the only home, of the Jewish people!

ways...but the small margin for the NPD means really nothing, as in Germany the Antisemites are included everywhere: in the CDU/CSU, SPD, the leftists, the Greens AND in the FDP... The Germans are slimy wimps and hypocrites... I know them very much and I totally despise them...!!!!
14. How many?

15. Boy, you people ARE naive
Daria ,   Israel   (10.14.10)
A poll requested by SPD, and you expect it to have integrity?! Come on! This party shelters all sorts of delinquents, including "movement of 68" participants whom, at the time, meaned to legalize pedophilia. Toss in the same pile all the anarchists, post-communists, closet-commies/nazis, x-stasi, self-righteous truth-twisters, Islam appologists and anti-imperialists. If there's anyone in Germany nowadays who hates Jews (except Muslims) then it's probably the Greens, Linke and the SPD who are trying to label anyone as "Nazi" and seed "rightwing panic" to urge the people to continue voting for leftie liars. (CDU just lost its marbles and bends to them for a "stable" half-assed coalition/cooperation). They simply take the traditional antisemitism and tart it up as "anti-zionism". Race and Ethnicity is a "big no-no" (it's SO politically incorrect) nowadays in Germany so it's convenient for them to say that Jews are a religion, not an ethnic group, and thus don't need a state of their own, that Israel is a "rogue state" and all in all undermining Israel's right for independence and overall existance. Wake up from your naive slumbed and/or paranoia, before Israel's last ally in Europe is lost to these deranged maniacs. They're more than willing to serve their country on a silver plate to Muslims, what do you think they'll do to you?!

6 milion people burn and killed and fired and be buired and shuts and children watch thier parents died in thier arms at age 5, so one person like you has a courage to say that the jewish defened from arab terorisem is not right and the jewish dont have a privilege to have a country to escape her, do you really serious? if i can use a disqusting words i would use them, but i cant.
19. Good point Gregg.
Thomas ,   Norway   (10.14.10)
There are idiots in every population on earth, and the modern day germans are among the most tolerant. That say something about the prospect about global harmony does it not? I am a European who supports Israel, that even think that Israel should have more than its 1947 share as a spoil of war they did not start. But I really think the settlers and Hamas/Iran is the roadblock to peace, and that this site is filled with whiners who think the whole world is against them.
20. Re #10
Andrew Brehm   (10.14.10)
Nonsense. Israel isn't doing anything to the "Palestinian people". And none of the anti-Israel people even know what "Talmudic Judaism" is. And yes, hatred happens in a vacuum. It only happens in a vacuum.
21. Re '8
Andrew Brehm   (10.14.10)
It is idiotic to believe that anti-Islam parties have anything in common with Nazi parties just because the media call both of them "right-wing". The fact is that many anti-Islam groups in Europe are against Islam BECAUSE they see Islam as being similar to fascism, and there is apparently no better defence against them than to claim that they are Nazis. The Nazis were not against foreigners or Islam. In fact Hitler was glad to employ foreigners in his fight against (German!) Jews and was allied with Islamic fundamentalists. While some right-wing parties exist in Europe that are similar to Hitler's party (like the Saddam-Hussein-supporting FPOe in Austria), people like Wilders are the exact opposite of that. You are telling us that people who support equal rights for women and homosexuals are the "old" right coming back and you base this on their opposition to Islam? Well, the real old right had nothing against Islam. And you want me to believe that Wilders is a new Hitler based on your observation that Wilders opposes an ideology Hitler didn't oppose because Wilders wants to defend the rights of those Hitler wanted to murder? That's just weird.
22. Re #6
Andrew Brehm   (10.14.10)
No, the "Jews in the ovens" crowd are not counted as antisemites in Europe. They are "criticis of Israeli policies". In Germany those who have some (comparably) minor prejudices against Jews are considered evil antisemites (like the old lady who never grew out of pre-war ignorance and believes that Jews have big noses but would never want to hurt them), while those who openly deny Israel's right to exist (and hence middle-eastern Jews right to live) are a political group like any other. Personally, I'd rather talk to the lady who thinks we have big noses.
23. Re #8
Andrew Brehm   (10.14.10)
Perhaps you should think twice before you call someone a Nazi just because he opposes an ideology that murders homosexuals and enslaves women.
24. #8 huh?
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (10.14.10)
You don't get it: no Jew is celebrating the rise of anti-Islam. The extreme Left in Europe encourages the Muslim take-over of Europe and the extermination of the Jews in Israel. As a result, in Europe, there are two types of "anti-Islam" forces. There are classic anti-foreigners who hate Jews, but they exist anywhere. There are also people who love democracy and have nothing against Muslims who want to integrate and have everything against Muslims who want to take over their country. These people are natural allies of Israel because they are also victims. Your attempt to bundle the second type (such as Wilders) with the racists, shows where your sympathies lie. And by the way: any Jew who lives in Europe or America (under Reverend Wright's disciple) knows that they will eventually be murdered. They know they must come back to their homeland in Israel.
25. #14 answer
(10.14.10)
None, you are confusing Israel with the Arabs
26. #8 who are they?
Raphael ,   Netanya   (10.14.10)
I believe you are a follower of Horst Mahler, former leader of the self proclaimed revolutionary Bader Meinhof gang, and now a top figure of the neo nazi NPD. No big swap! He simply retained the same islamofascist friends and the same jewish enemies.
27. Jews will be fine now, Turks might be the immediate target.
David   (10.14.10)
Rising unemployment in Germany makes immigrants even more unwanted. Turks generally seem to find work through family, relative and community circles, so they seem to have less unemployment problems than others. There were attacks against Turks ended with death in the 1980s-90s. This time Islam and unemployment make Turks even more visible and unwanted in Germany. Erdogan should worry about Turks rather than Hamas.
28. Hech said of Germans:
Golan ,   modiin   (10.14.10)
they have not changed, they are just resting.
29. #27, rising unemployment?
Fluffi ,   Germany   (10.14.10)
Unemployment is permanently decreasing and in the meanwhile at its lowest level since 1992. Germany has created 1.6 million new jobs in the last 5 years and this in spite of the finance crises. Although I must admit that quite a few of these jobs are poorly paid.
30. Don't believe any statistic you haven't forged
