Lebanese Christian living in Canada, you have already chosen with your feet. If your cause is just and the soldiers brave, why are you not with them? Your talk is all hot air. The reality is that Christians are leaving the Middle East, not because of the Israel problem like the Cardinals claim, but because the Muslims don't give you equality. That's the real Apartheid in the Middle East.
33. Lebanese Christian #24: You spout

your "brave" words from the safe confines of Canada. You pretend to be patriotic. You, yourself, however, have no courage. You sound like an empty buffoon.

and "pesky" DNAs, you might wish to consult the recent issue of the American Journal of Genetics in an article entitled "Abraham's Children..." by Atzmon, et al (Albert Einstein School of Medicine), which illustrates the linkage of European Jews to one another and to the Jews of the mideast. There are also more popular, more readable, recent scientific articles on this same subject. I'm sorry to burst your bubble but it's likely we are genetically related. Perhaps the more difficult, unanswered question, is whether Palestinian Arabs, both Christian and Muslim, early converts, are also related. There is some compelling evidence as there appears to be cultural similarities in ways of worship between some Palestinian communities and Sephardic Jewish rituals. If you have up-to-date studies which refute Atzmon, et al, findings, kindly post them.

don't talk about things your little racist brain has no power to comprehend. my whole family is living in between muslims and druze in Lebanon. As in most families, they refuse to come because they love where they live. Us, youngsters left the country because of instability and lack of opportunity caused by sh^th^ads south of our border. I will never fight no matter what if i have the opportunity not to (i do, i live in Canada). other brave soldiers chose a different route that i respect. probably, because they have no other option or because they are willing to sacrifice their lives to protect their homeland. I am not willing to but i respect them, salute them, help them, and support them anywhere i go. They will prevail because they are the righteous ppl of the land. you guys just have to wait and see. HAHA
36. #27 - When exactly did Arabs agree to live in coexistence?
William ,   Israel   (10.15.10)
"arabs conceded and were willing to give up around 70% of original palestine for you to live in" When was this exactly? Was it in 1947 when the UN Partition divided the land and the Arabs responded with a genocidal war? Was it in 1967 when Israel won Gaza, West Bank, and Golan, then offered it back in return for peace and was responded to with the 3 NOs from Arab League in Khartoum? Was in 1973 when the Arabs invaded with the intent on genocide and destroying Israel? Was it in 1982 when Lebanon allowed Arab terrorists to kill Israeli civilians and send rockets from insider their territory? Was it in 2000 when Israel offered 97% of land for a State and was given a massive terrorist intifada which left scores of civilians dead and wounded? Was it 2006 when Hizbullah invaded Israel, killed soldiers, sent rockets to civilian cities, and held Lebanese people hostage to a war Nasrallah later apologized for? Was it 2007 when Hamas declared war on Israel with the stated intent to destroy Israel and replace it with an Islamic State? So you can see why I'm confused. You cited that Arabs accepted to coexist with Israel but I can't seem to find anything in history to support your claim.
37. #34 - Pal communities and Sephardic Jews
William ,   Israel   (10.15.10)
"there appears to be cultural similarities in ways of worship between some Palestinian communities and Sephardic Jewish rituals." That's because quite a few "Palestinian" tribes were forcibly converted from Judaism to Islam when the Arab hordes invaded and occupied the region (until today). An Israeli anthropologist led an investigation and found these tribes who openly admit that they were forcibly converted. They do rituals in secret because Muslim tribes do not 100% accept them. It's like an open secret there.
38. #4 Edward Here's your proof
Alexander ,   NJ, USA   (10.15.10)
Unlike your unsubstantiated claim to being a Moabite we the Jews have a much deeper connection to Israel. First and foremost the creator of the Earth G-d almighty gave us this land as ours. We have a religious obligation to "settle the land of Israel" unlike any other religion. Unlike all other people we are bound to one specific place - Israel! Where ever else we may live is not our true home. Some of the nations that have harbored us are good to us like the US or UK and others are not (take your pick of any Muslim nation). Lastly I want to draw on your absurd implication that Jews have no genetic proof just like you have no genetic proof. Well the former is simply untrue, we certainly do have "strong genetic bonds both within and among Jewish communities around the world, their distinctiveness vis-à-vis the populations among which they have dwelled, and their links to the Middle East." (http://forward.com/articles/129991/). This is from an interesting piece that also delves on the subject matter of Jewish identity if your curious about such a thing. Also regarding this Ynet article I think that goyim should have the right to vote in Israel. The best solution for Israel is to have more JEWISH BABIES! Come on Jews what's wrong with you over there, "be fruitful and multiply"! Also increasing efforts to bring Diaspora Jews back home through Jewish education abroad will strengthen Israel and the Jewish communities too.

Most "Israeli Arabs" are citizens of convenience and would turn their back on the country without a blink. How many would change their allegiance to an Arab state tomorrow? You guessed it, most of them.

Google the Arab Peace Initiative first proposed in 2002 and is still endorsed by ALL arab states.
42. Over 1/3rd of Israelis want to revoke rights of non-Jews

Scary to know that over 1/3rd of Israelis wish to revoke the rights of their non-Jewish minority. Israel surely is a "light" unto all nations...fascist-nationalist ones!

admission, you are a coward. You've "escaped" to Canada where opportunities and security abound while leaving your family members in Lebanon. In the fashion of the mideast, however, you like to blame Israeli Jews for your problems. Never taking responsibility is one of your traits. Soon, poor Lebanon will be owned by Hezbollah and Iran. But you will blame this on Israel also rather than taking accountability for doing nothing about it.
44. William #34: Can you provide references
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (10.15.10)
to the anthropological evidence? I would be interested. I don't think this evidence is actually well known amongst Israeli Jews, incidentally, even at the normally unacknowledged level.
45. #43 Robert Haymond
Lebanese christian ,   Canada   (10.15.10)
According to you, the choice to not fight and kill other humans is labeled cowardice. That is your opinion. Others could characterize it as an act of bravery (Remember Gandhi?). Again, its their opinion. Hizbulah was born from Villagers who want to get their land back (south of Lebanon). those LEBANESE fought hard and kicked the occupiers out in 2000. Brave southerners. you can call those lebanese iranians if that would suit your version of the story better. i call them my brave lebanese brothers and sisters who did not surrender their land to foreign occupiers. You can also claim that Lebanon is owned by Iran, again that suites all of you who need excuses for your murderous acts. I wish you guys could just stop pointing fingers at others and look at what you do to humanity. At the end, your the ones who use weapons of mass destruction (phosphorous), bomb schools and UN offices (Qana), and continue to steal land. You are the ones who rank#1 in selling human body parts. You r the ones who torture and dance around weak women. You're the ones who prides themselves by taking pictures with helpless detained civilians. you're the ones who kill people in international waters. you're the ones who are not willing to abide by international law. you're the ones who enjoy cutting olive trees of pal. farmers. do i need to continue?! how can you not see it? this always amazes me! anyway, Righteous people are always confident of the outcome and fear no evil. Jesus told us to respect others and that G-D will always stand against the evil doers. that is why, Robert, israelis have two choices: be moral or vanish just as in the case of the regime of south africa. Righteousness will always prevail.

You are distorting the historical facts and you are bringing up the threats. Can't you see that Jews lived in Israel continuously through the all troubled times. Jews left Lebanon and moved to Israel. Jews left space for you, and you threaten them with consequences? Your ignorance is surpassing all the boarders. If you consider your book and your mullahs tell you the real truth, I wonder what are you doing in Canada then? You talk like Lebanese Muslim.
48. #45; Lebanese christian, wrong, all points
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (10.16.10)
It's always impressive how much distortion some can get in one post. LC writes: " You can also claim that Lebanon is owned by Iran" No Ahmadinejad says this, remember he feels right at "home". With his bought and paid for for mercenaries Hezbollah. Who forced the Lebanese people to attend a rally and pretend support for him and Hezbollah. LC writes: " your the ones who use weapons of mass destruction (phosphorous), bomb schools and UN offices (Qana), and continue to steal land." No land has been stolen, the schools were used to store weapons illegally by Hezbollah (a war crime). Phosphorus bombs are used by many countries, the UN was caught giving real time IDF troop movements to Hezbollah during the war. LC writes: "You are the ones who rank#1 in selling human body parts." Whatever that means? Is it illegal? Or is this the phony black market story? LC writes: "You r the ones who torture and dance around weak women." Really? What is your source, nobody knows what the heck your talking about? LC writes: " You're the ones who prides themselves by taking pictures with helpless detained civilians." They called suspects, was it wrong for the IDF to do...from a moral point of view. Probably. But compared to the Muslim beheading video's, where is your outrage there? Did you ever protest any of those? LC writes: " you're the ones who kill people in international waters" You mean the staged flotilla incident? The blockade was legal under International Law, as was enforcement of that blockade. The combatants on the ship started the attack at the IDF ...armed with paintball guns...clearly proving the IDF never intended to use deadly force. But only responded to a premeditated and deadly attack by terrorists. LC writes: " you're the ones who are not willing to abide by international law." Which Laws do you speak of? Or do you just make it up as you go along? LC writes: " you're the ones who enjoy cutting olive trees of pal. farmers." So, your the ones who killed four innocent civilians in a drive-by shooting (including a pregnant mother of six). Then held a victory parade the next day for those "heroic" acts of resistance. Cutting down some olive trees in response, seems to pale in comparison. LC writes: "do i need to continue?! " Do I Need To Continue???

51. who were middle eastern christians fooling
sweeter than honey ,   far away   (10.16.10)
besides themselves? selling the idea that they were arabs, to middle eastren mohammedans, in an effort to secure themselves a place there. and since the establishment of israel, adopting a mohammedan orthodoxy vis a vis. but it has not worked, it is a failed policy. fifty years before israel was established there were 20% christians in middle east, now less than 5%. the vacuousness of their failed policy (blaming it all on israel) in trying to sell to mohammedans arab multicultualism (for want of a better term) with themselve the christians as evidence of this, is an utter failure. they still bang on though, and highly amusing it is too to the mohameddans. it isn't even stockholm syndrome anymore, just plain desperation of failure. as things stand now they had better be nicer to the jews (look what happened in ramallah or bethlehem once christain towns, then the jews left), but it's probably too late.

I am surprised at your claims that an incident was staged when IDF choppers attacked the flotilla, not the other way around. That the ships attacked the IDF even though it was the IDF that boarded the ships. That the IDF "never intended to use deadly force" when they carried guns and shot several people dead. According to the latest report, some of the dead were shot unarmed and even restrained. And no, phosphorus bombs are not used by many countries, just a few. And those who use them are called war criminals.
