Actually, if you immigrate to the UK (or most other countries for that matter) you are required to sign a document pledging loyalty to the state (in the UK the Queen of England). It has never been regarded as racism before Israel announced it would introduce such an oath. I do wonder if other countries will now abandon their oaths for new citizens in order to stand on the new right side of history. (Actually, I assume they will just bash Israel and not change a thing about their own oaths.)

Dear Mr Leigh, I am sorry you have decided to decline from visiting my country,due to your Political beliefs.I once met and did a work-shop with you many years ago and have been a fan of your work from before we met and since.I was pleased when i heard you were coming .Now I am disapointed I had hoped you would ride above the immature reaction of Boycotting.True Peace will only be achieved and maintained when the People arise above the fanatics and the people can enjoy an equal quality of life.Culture is one of the natural need of all and the development of dialogue between diverse cultures is the only way to bring us understanding and respect.
