1. I'd love them to take Jerusalem
Demosthenes ,   Israel   (11.03.10)
Because there's a fat chance a similar group would rise from native Israelis.
2. Oh when the saints, go marching in.....
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (11.03.10)
3. Marco Rubio is very welcome.
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (11.03.10)
And Liberal Jewish Democrats deserved to lose. Good riddance.
4. Elections USA
Robotic   (11.03.10)
I prefer 100 time a pro Israeli Christian rightist, than a Jewish lsrael hater leftist. Th e defeat of Mr Barak Hussein Obama and his supporters is a good think for our people.
5. The last thing we need in J'lem
Daniel ,   TA and DC   (11.03.10)
Frankly we have enough whack jobs of our own in the government. We certainly do not need to import or offer any welcome to the crazy members of the Tea Party no matter how much they support Israel. Israel is only fooling itself if it thinks these people will support a strong Israel from anything other than an agenda to bring about the "second coming." This could mean that they are interested in actually causing an apocalyptic war. What these idiots began in Iraq they will bring to our borders. Don't fool yourselves into thinking otherwise. Why else were we denied air space freedom to attack the nukes in Iran? Think about it.
6. To #5 We need them and not you and
jason white ,   afula,israel   (11.03.10)
leftists and liberals. We need to clear out the knesset and get new blood in. There are people there for decades and some are even the children of former m.k.s. This should not be a family business or dynasties. We need a law that prevents the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of elected officials from entering politics. We need to clear out all the n.g.o.s that receive money from unfriendly governments or groups. We need to remove anti Zionist parties and ban those that never served in the I.D.F. from voting, sitting in the knesset or working in government. We need a Tea Party to cut the size of government and to stop their raising of taxes, licenses and other fees. The Americans saw how the government was spending not only today's money but the money of generations as yet unborn. The level of unemployment did not go down and the Chinese government is buying the U.S. We need a Tea Party to make sure there is an Israel forever and not to follow the dictates of our enemies in the u.n., the eurabian union, the pali terrorists and the U.S. state dept.
7. Hopefully, we will still get our wars with these guys
WRosencratz ,   Miami Beach, FL   (11.04.10)
Hopefully, these guys will prove they are loyal to the US and Israel and continue the foreign policy we have in place. I heard a lot of KKK-rubbish and saw some of those sickening signs of Obama at their protests, but I am willing to have an open mind with tea baggers.
8. Contract With Israel next step for Israeli right.
Chaim ,   Israel   (11.04.10)
The tea party represents all the great values upon which America was founded. It is inalienably opposed to the socialist oppression Obama wants to inflict on America and the world. Israel can only benefit from a homegrown tea party movement. Let's also have a rightist Contract With Israel inspired by the enormous success of the 1994 Republican Contract With America, which propelled Republicans to take the House and Senate. Israel longs for sincere right wing leadership and whoever provides it will rise to power. The Contract With Israel can include pledges to massively settle Judea and Samaria, execute terrorists, prosecute traitors, pay Arabs to leave etc.
9. Re#5 - So, you know these people?
Christy ,   Boston, US   (11.04.10)
How many Tea Party supporters are you friends with enough to know their agenda for Israel is to bring about 'end times'? Christian Zionists, like myself, are accused all the time of supporting Israel due to some 'end times' agenda. I've found that people making this accusation don't have any friends who are Christian Zionists. So, how do they *know* this is the real agenda?=> They believe the propaganda put out by the anti-'Christian Zionists'.
10. Alan Grayson is disgusting a-hole. Good riddance.
leo ,   usa   (11.04.10)
11. Daniel @ 5, do not be affraid. We all will be just fine.
leo ,   usa   (11.04.10)
12. Senator Rubio
Rosie Bumme ,   NYC USA   (11.04.10)
There is nothing crazy about Marco Rubio. He is a fine man,a man who believes in American exceptionalism and the rights bestowed upon us by the creator. Shame on you if you find that disturbing.Israel has had few friends in the last Congress, unsteady friends at that. Even Jewish ones, yes, backstabbers. As a Jew I would trust this guy before A Richard Blumenthal or a J Street commie.
13. american christians more loyal to israel then liberal jews
mira ,   israel   (11.04.10)
its a fact now. our common love is for the GOD of israel. too bad many american jews has forgoten GOD.
14. american jews are siding with muslims
avraham ,   jerusalem   (11.04.10)
not from love but because that will show how liberal and not racist they are. thats all they care about.
15. # 9 no such thing ..
Ron ,   Israel   (11.04.10)
"Christian Zionists" ok what is the real agenda then, beside to hurry "2nd" coming and to force us ...
16. "Only Jew in the Party"???
Republican Jew ,   USA   (11.04.10)
Time for this newspaper to either wake up or at least get an editor...Eric Cantor is the only Jew in the [Republican] Party? Are you insane? There are tens of thousands of us!
17. No. 16 Republican Jew
NYC Girl   (11.04.10)
Presumably they meant Eric Cantor is the only Jewish elected official in the Republican party, not the only Jewish party member.
18. Big congrats to Marco, and Eric Cantor
Cameron ,   USA   (11.04.10)
Well done, gents. Only sorry to hear that weasel, Barney Frank, is still lurking about in the DC shadows.
19. welcome to Israel but remind Obama he will not be welcomed
zionist forever   (11.04.10)
Just remember to remind Obama when you get back if he decides to set foot in Israel there will be protests and its going to be splashed all over the media how for the first time a US president is not welcome in Israel. With any luck now the Republicans control the House of Representatives and the Democrats only barely have a majority in the Senate then Americas attitude to Israel will change for the better.
20. Future President Rubio
zbrk ,   Eshkolot   (11.04.10)
Regret I will not be in Israel in time to congratulate Senator-elect Rubio, who I believe will be in the running for President as his term expires in 2016. He received my primary and general election votes this year. As things now stand, I hope to be doing the same thing six years from now.
21. Not my fault
Greg ,   Boston, USA   (11.07.10)
I voted for Frank's opponent Sean Bielat and persuaded my friends to do the same. I'll take any day unapologetic gentile friend of Israel like Bielat over authentic "tea-bagger" Frank who never confronted Obama over his anti-Israel antics
