Obama's has a personal interest in having good relations with moslem countries because he knows and identifies personally with islam. it is obvious. look at him smiling with indonesian Pm,w ith hariri of lebanon, with abdullah of jordan. See how good he feels in Cairo and Ankara. Americans do not have the 'family ties to moslems as he does. From a strategy viewpoint, it is smart to have meaningful relations with moslems countries.
