1. the vile 'krauts' among us, then!

The SS, the CIA, they both worked with upmost diligence and efficiency for their national interst. Rockets, ovens, gas, all in a day's work for these ' venerable ' institutions. America, safe haven was even big enough to accomodate crooks, criminals, killers of international fame, with room to spare. After all, if Einstein was allowed to live, work in freedom and dignity, why not balance this good dead with a Arthur L Rudolph; A Nazi purveyor of slave workers for his munition factory so that the killing of GI's can continue. Leave it to the Justice Dept who, like the 'Keystone cops ", tried to arrest him, but missed.I'll be amiss not to mention the role of the Vatican, it's Pope, churches for saving these wanted masters in the art of slaughter by providing food, shelter, money, false papers`,etc. And for this, the church want's to make a saint out of Pope Pius the XII. After all. all he did was to continue a long line of prelate effort to make Jews pay for killing a Jew. Celestial stupidity ??
2. What a clever America

They take advantage of Nazi scientists rather than hand them over to Israel. A brilliant policy indeed.:)
3. This is not new. The c.i.a. made use of nazi

criminals in the cold war. Not to mention werner von braun and other engineers. I once read that the U.S. would have been better off using the technology that American rocket scientists were developing instead of the german technology.
4. They were important early in Cold War,that changed in 80'
Bloodyscot ,   Dallas, Texas   (11.14.10)
when it looked like the US was winning Cold war and US had little more to gain from them. Would Israel give a "safe haven" to a terrorist with blood on their hands if they could help bring down Hamas or Hizbollah in a major way?
5. many nazis had skills the US didnt but wanted

Neil Armstrong walked on the moon thanks to Nazi Wernher Von Braun the man who built Hitler the V 1 & V2 and a whole load of other weapons. America took in plenty of Nazis because they had various skills and knowledge the Americans wanted. Its the job of the likes of CIA to protect American interests not judge Nazis so its understandable and whilst these people should have stood trial I don't think the CIA can be condemned for it.

Israel had a better way of dealing with Nazis. Eichman was a show trial to let the Nazis know that the jews have turned the tables and they will not be safe anywhere. What happened with most of the less high profilel Nazis were found & plenty were Mossad agents were sent to quietly bump them off so they didn't escape Israeli justice in the end. Its a shame we waste so much money locking palestinian terrorists up because they usually end up getting released somehow anyway. Doing things the old fashioned tried and tested method is much cheaper than keeping them in jail and its much more effective.
7. to #2 - not really the same though

Surely you can't compare what the Nazis did to the Jewish people to what the Palestinians did or do - or for that matter what they would like to do if they had the power. I have looking at a TV program again where moving images were being shown of WWII and the Holocaust and it is truly gut-wrenching, it makes you cry and feel desperate and then so very angry and taking revenge was indeed the right thing to do ... but seriously ZF, you can't compare it - the pals don't like you that's for sure, they consider you an enemy and a land stealer and all that but the Nazis didn't even consider you a human.
8. #3 rubbish-the Germans were light years ahead of the US even
