Unless an officil apology is issued by the israeli government for killing the turkish activists and pay compansation, Erdogan will continue to severe relations, for example, not allowing israeli citizens to even enter turkey. I think this law makes sense from Turkish point of view. Israel is an expansionist state and it would be a national security issue if Israelis were allowed to own land then eventually annex it. That is the Turkish nightmare.

While I think Turkey is headed the wrong way now, it still only restricts by foreign citizenship, not by race or religion, atleast so far. In Israel only Jews can buy state land or move to Israel and become a citizen.
