1. Somebody get Haber a tranquilizer.
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (11.30.10)
2. Tranquilizer? Maybe rather champagne.
Reuven ,   Israel   (11.30.10)
I find something quite refreshing about Wikileaks. After all, those hiding the truth have the most to fear. As Melanie Philips in the Spectator puts the case of Iran - the conspiracy theory surrounding Israel collapses. Yes, Saudi Arabia, for one, told the US to get the head of the snake. Maybe no more reading between the lines? Maybe a bit less PC?

some serouse events need a strong slap not a tranqilizer..i know that better than you and better than etan
4. To: Reuven at No. 2
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.30.10)
Did you find Anat Kam "refreshing" as well? I didn't. I found her to be a traitor. The question with respect to the Wikileaks bonanza is not why or how, but rather who. My money is on Mrs. Clinton. She has the most to gain.
5. JAIL WIKILEAKS
sheik rattle & roll ,   USA   (11.30.10)
The strange thing is the US government didn't fight its release. It could of went to court to try to get some type of injunction against wikilieaks. I always said that Obama is getting a raw deal because he inherited more problems than any other President in US history, however his government froze and took no action what so ever against wikileaks that has basically slapped American government silly. He has lost my support. The bottom line is Obama has failed the State department and all the career diplomats that have developed relations with foreign diplomats. I know there is freedom of speech but disclosing secrets and secure communications should be a crime and the wikileaks founder should be imprisoned. It is not a game people will die because of his actions.
6. Haber needs a valium
Haber   (11.30.10)
No doubt that the leaks are big and will definitely make statesmen think twice before talking. But, nonetheless, they will continue talking just like before the leaks. Not sure why Haber is so worked up over this. "Atomic bomb" and "world will never be the same"? Settle down, brother.
7.  a new dawn , a new day, a new world?
oldman drymonth ,   israel   (11.30.10)
Not a sniff of diffference, only rumours of gossip behind closed doors, facts r facts, we all know people are dying being born and lying, walking the walk and talking the talk, but who benefits and who stands to lose, and so on,,
8. #5 sheik
David ,   America   (11.30.10)
As you and other left leaning US citizens begin to awaken and rub the sleep from your eyes concerning obama, it is my prayer that you do not doze off again but instead fully awaken to the fact that obama is president of the US only in title. In reality he is our enemy. Like the shining one in Bereshit who sweet talked our Mother until she bit the evil fruit, obama, the great orator keeps blowing smoke up America's butt and they continue to fall for it. You will know him by his fruit. As he continues to bow and kiss the backside of our enemies, don't expect him to do anything to stop anyone who is trying to hurt the US because his mind is on the new world order.
9. Probably all a conspiracy.

ralph   (12.01.10)
severely punished. this is no different than a nihilist throwing a bomb into a senior level government office. death is the only proper response.
13. A whole lot of nothing, the solution...
Edward ,   New York USA   (12.01.10)
Assange should go to jail, and Haber should lock himself in his soundproof office never to venture out or write another silly article again.
14. The WikiLeaks are a wake-up call to US spin
Isaac   (12.01.10)
Haber is correct about the revelations of the WikiLeaks. The Obama administration had maintained that the lack of progress concerning the peace process was endangering US troops. (see e.g. the public statements by the administration); however, the cables show that the US was well aware that Iran is supporting the insurgencts and that is endangering the troops; therefore, it was disingenuous for the Obama administration to blame the lack of progress concerning the peace talks (which is euphemistic for blame Israel) for causing the danger. Second, as many commentators have pointed out, Obama linked the lack of progress concerning the peace talks to his inability to convince the Arab countries to support action against Iran's development of a nuclear bomb; however, as the cables show, the Arab countries like Saudia Arabia were very vocal about the US taking action against Iran developing a bomb. The WikiLeaks are a wake-up call to the spin that an American administration can and has placed on important foreign policy issues.
