I wouldn't be surprised if the purpose of these leaks is to "erode trust between nations". I also wouldn't be surprised if the Obama administration is the one responsible for the leaked documents, as everything else they have done is leading us full-throttle into a world war. In any event, I do believe that Hosni Mubarak has a "visceral hatred" for Iran, not based on the contents of a leaked document, but based on his own statements and actions.

the contents are either saying or opinion of only others other than American leaders. So, one can confidentially say: it's American leak.

Iran has been able to stand up to some very arrogant people and achieve some impressive technological feats, while Mubarak has been busy coloring his hair. He and his regime are irrelevant, and he KNOWS it.

What "impressive technological feats" did Iran achieve? Iran can't refine its own oil and imports gasoline from Saudi Arabia. If you are comparing modern day Iran with Egypt 4000 years ago, you may be right. Wake UP. Your home country is marching towards a disaster. I shall be watching Tehran bombing on CNN, very soon.

Wikileaks posted 250,000 documents stolen from the US State department- of course these are American leaks. The other point is that it is not customary for foreign service employees to comment on their respective domestic political leadership in their official communications.
