3. so what?
observer   (01.02.11)
This clearly an unstable individual who doesn't know where he belongs and who takes a bit of everything. He should be sorting himself out not being held up as an example. Or is the intention just to denigrate yet another haredi?

& SOME Fat. Lack of fats, especially FISH fats/oils can lead to early senility. Lack of proteins can lead to cellular disfunction & many other harmful conditions.
5. There's more animal killing for egg and dairy than for meat.
Judo ,   Canada   (01.03.11)
It is a fact that kilo for kilo the numbers of baby chicks and chickens killed in the egg industry and the numbers of calves and adult cows killed in the dairy industry far outweigh any killing that is done for meat. So vegan is the only ethical way and kosher way to go if you do not like eating food produced by mistreated animals raised in disgraceful conditions and killed.
6. Good for him
Mike L ,   TA Israel   (01.03.11)
Matisyahu has been a great role model, and has taken it a step further by going vegan. Vegan/vegetarian is one of the healthiest things you can do for yourself and for this planet. His passion for all things good make him an awesome role model for Jews and non Jews alike.
7. Vegan the diet for celibates as it destroys testosterone.
JMK ,   NYC   (01.04.11)
If you want to be spiritual yet sexless yeshiva monks be a vegan. Want the libido of a tinkerbell fairy don't eat dairy.
