31. #4 - Bibi also expressed support for land swap with Gaza
William ,   Israel   (11.30.10)
in return for a peace deal, even though Haniyeh from Hamas admitted publicly that Gush Katif was infact historical Jewish land. I consider this land still occupied land that must be returned by the Arabs. I imagine that per Intl Law, the areas of Jerusalem, Hebron, Shehem, and Jericho where many Jews were ethnically cleansed by your invaders are also occupied by Arabs and must be returned to Jews. I believe this is still the stance of Bibi, but you can have Umm Al-Faqm in return.
32. #19 - why would they? They don't own either of them
William ,   Israel   (11.30.10)
Last I checked, both Haifa and Jerusalem were Jewish and in Israeli hands. They can have Umm al-Faqm and we'll take the holy Jewish city of Hebron.
33. #32 West & East Jerusalem are not Israeli
observer   (11.30.10)
The UN resolution 181 from 1947 clearly defines Israel international borders, so how capital of Israel can be out of those borders. No country has so far recognized Israeli sovereignty in either West or East Jerusalem. With regard to West Jerusalem, the European states have de facto accepted the applicability of Israeli law. The case of Yossele Schumacher; this young ultra-Orthodox boy was abducted in the 1960s by his father from Jerusalem to the United Kingdom. The British court applied the law in force in West Jerusalem, i.e., Israeli law. Interestingly, foreign states have not claimed that the law of occupation should apply to West Jerusalem." Another example is the Regency Hotel, formerly the Hyatt Hotel on Mount Scopus in Jerusalem. It is partly built in an area where there was an Israeli enclave from 1949 to 1967 and partly outside it. When official European representatives come to the hotel they go only into those parts located on land that belonged to this enclave. the UN GA resolution Resolution 46/82, December 16, 1991 determines that Israel's decision to impose its laws, jurisdiction and administration on the Holy City of Jerusalem is illegal and therefore null and void and has no validity whatsoever.

"My ambitions are bigger than a position in the PA ; ) " I like the answer, you got a point :) "For other things, you will change your mind when you come to visit me" I never said that you don't deserve justice, I just say that "Palestinian" is too imprecise or erroneous. But this is not major, we know very well what we are talking about. "I'm waiting for you , Yossef :) " I hope I'll be able to. Not before January unfortunately, but I'll try :)

Ben-Gurion had this words: "A state cannot be built on a UN resolution - but rather with tears and bricks." So, give us a break with you UN resolutions, you'll be nice :)
36. To nr 33: What country do you represent?
Alexander ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (11.30.10)
UN Resolutions are not binding - merely recommendations. Furthermore, they are biased, prejudiced and very arbitrary. UN Resolutions are not based on International Law nor on historical rights, for then Israel would be viewed as the owner of the land of Israel. UN Resolutions are based on political popularity concerns of the majority of despotic and non democratic member states that perform genocide and trample human rights to the dust daily
37. The Land of Israel
Brod ,   USA   (12.01.10)
Judea and Samaria are Israel's LIBERATED HISTORIC HOMELAND-LAND OF ISRAEL SINCE ANCIENT TIME. Why talk about land swap? GOD gave and restored the Land of Israel to the Jews as a Fulfillment of His Covenant to the Jewish nation.
