1. Meet the new boss. Fear him like you feared the old boss.

That warning, of course, is intended for Israel's enemies. Given that all the heads of the intelligence and military communities are changing over the next few months, it would appear the Mossad at least is in good hands.
2. Wait, wasn't Balbek...

... the very dangerous operation that resulted in us capturing the wrong people? Oh yeah that's right. We got the wrong Hasan Nasrallah in that one. Yea, Pardo is just the man for the job just like the assassination mission in Dubai was such a splendid success under Dagan's watch. Actually, contrary to what Fishman thinks there have been lots and very persuasive studies that show that in government bureaucracies (yes, the Mossad is a bureaucracy) people who tend to stay in the same institution can't break out of certain ways of thinking. Just like a leftish professor can't admit socialism doesn't work in spite of the overwhelming evidence same with career bureaucrats. So instead of thinking of a novel solution to a problem they'll make decisions on previous modes of thinking even if its the least efficient like very complicated assassination missions. But then again Fishman is a blowhard
3. #2, yeah if you believe Al-Manar

which you clearly do....
