2. denazification
martin ,   uk   (12.07.10)
so nice to see the programme was such a success that thousands like this bastard were welcomed to the land of the free and the land of the brave.. freedom was denied to the victims, only in death, how brave the ss were in murdering innocent unarmed civilians. bravery matched when they scuttled like rats at the docks in the wake of the soviet advance into germany. how lucky these swine have been to live long happy and prosperous lives, again denied to their victims
3. Great job. Hats off

4. he will never go to court so send Mossad to dispense justice
zionist forever   (12.07.10)
At 97 he is never going to be punished for his crimes in any sort of legal manner that much is obvious so if we want justice done then it has to come from the bullet of a Mossad agents gun. Do not let scum like this escape justice because they are old. Israel owes it to the victims to dispense some justice before he dies peacefully in his bed never being prosecuted.

7. Why Civil in US and not Criminal Israel or Germany?
Bloodyscot ,   Dallas, Texas   (12.07.10)
Why Civil case in US and not in Germany or Israel, or even criminal charges? Are the laws and courts just easier to file in US civil court or is there another reason?

had he known that his friend was a Jew, he would never have trusted him. So, material extracted by deception can't be used as legal evidence.
11. Life imitating art
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.07.10)
There was a movie precisely on this theme a few years ago (well, more than a few, actually). I cannot remember the name, but it was on HBO. That much I do recall.
12. The hidden doctor
Avi ,   Israel   (12.07.10)
This abomination lived a good long life hidden and sheltered in the heart of Germany and probably no one was supposed to know about it, the middle aged generation calls to leave them alone because they are old men, this shows and proves that it may look as if they have changed, apparently not. It is amazing that when the war ended all the masses of them evaporated into thin air not to be found but now they have risen again proud of their doings.
13. Let´s

hunt down the allies that murdered, stole and raped in Germany after the end of the war. These crimes were committed against innocent people.

Mossad is the way to put this animal before God for his final judgement. May he rot in Hell for eternity.

in Judaism, there is only one or two verses to recite in time of illness, but there are hundred verses to recite on revenge.

Sorry, but you're talking about people who enthusiastically applauded, supported and loved their Fuhrer right up until the bombs started falling on German cities. You're talking about people who lived a stone's throw away from extermination camps, yet never saw or smelled the foul black clouds that came billowing out of the chimneys of the crematoria. Twenty-six million Russian civilians were murdered by the Nazis. Although I find the actions of the Russian soldiers personally distasteful, I would not prosecute them. They were more than entitled to revenge, and not likely to get it in a court of law. As to theft? Not an argument one would wish to present in a court of law. Have you any idea how much priceless artwork, valuable Steinway and Boesendorfer grand pianos, Stradivarii and Amati violins and valuable jewlery and other personal possessions were stolen from the Jews by ordinary German civilians? No, I don't imagine you do. By the way, I'm not sure of the exact count, but I can tell you that somewhere around 30 or 35 American soldiers were hangied at Shepton Mallet prison for acts of violence (principally rape and/or murder) committed against British citizens while they were stationed in the U.K. during the war. Their crimes were committed against innocent people. The German civilians were scarcely that. Your suggestion is petty and self-serving. It is also patently absurd; sorry.
17. he should be hanged, but that isn't enough...
Mattan ,   cocoa beach, fl USA   (12.08.10)
the civil suit is necessary to make sure that his family doesn't live from the inheritence made from jewish blood. who knows how much money he made from jewish property he probably stole, this money needs to be returned to the jewish people.
18. To: No. 7
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.08.10)
Not Israel, because Germany will not extradite anyone to Israel who might be charged as a Nazi war criminal, as such a charge is a capital crime in Israel and Germany will not extradite anyone who might be executed upon a finding of guilt. Not Germany, because these cases invariably get laughed out of court. Have you any idea how much priceless artwork which was privately owned by Jewish families hangs in German museums? Germany refuses to grant standing to sue to recover, despite abundance provenance supporting the fact that particular families owned specific works of art? More significantly, the United States was one of the Allied powers that controlled Germany after the war and served on the Nuremberg Tribunal. The United States has always acknowledged jurisdiction in perpetuity for lawsuits -- civil or criminal -- against former Nazis. The United States is also one of very few countries in the world that denaturalizes and deports former Nazis and collaborators to stand trial. Trust I have addressed your questions.

One of the things that was really odd about the Germany of that time, is that they assigned a fall guy to make up for their failings. Part of the reasons for their failing was that they were seen as bullys. So during those times they like tried to make up for this by becoming more of a bully and more and more violent. So it was like a hopeless cycle that they could not seem to escape out of, and it ultimately led to their downfall. Also, once someone starts a war, there is no way to control it in anyway or to rescue someone out of it. It cannot be made nicer or more acceptable. It's going to be horrible and a lot of innocent people are going to get hurt and killed in the process. These are good reasons not to start wars in the first place.
