While the Arabs have, for the obvious reasons, drawn a line in the sand over the freeze, the idea is nonsense. After all if both parties sit down and come to an agreement, with defined borders it will end the building debate. Because the borders will be defined, regardless of what is being built. So the Arabs are doing what's called "cutting of their nose to spite their face". It's just another excuse in their long list of excuses for not sitting down and talking peace. The Arabs are more worried about achieving a PR victory...getting Israel blamed for the failure of the peace talks...than getting a country? It makes no sense. I've always said...and still believe...that the Arabs hold all the cards. They can sit down anytime they want and talk peace, they simply choose not to. They would rather make demands that they know in advance, Israel may not meet, then choose not to sit down and talk. If you walk into a Car Dealership and the Car is 30K, you tell the salesman you want to buy the car, he says fine it's 30K. You say look I'll only pay 15K for the car. The salesman says, I can't do that. but I'll come down to 26K, it's the best I can do. You say NO, 15K or it's your fault if I don't buy the car. In essence that's what's going on, the Arabs want it for 15K or no deal. OK then, it's no deal. But was he serious to begin with about buying a car?
