1. Bombing empty tunnels=Waste of weapons & Waste of news space
(12.08.10)
Title says it all. One of Barak's dumb moves. No need to read further.
2. If we know where the weapons cashes are..
rebecca ,   Modiin   (12.08.10)
why dont we just hit them before they can fire at us? Why do we always need be attacked before we respond? Be Pro-active. Take out everything we know about asap and then when they still attack us take out something more serious than empty tunnels.
3. Israeli citizens are so pleased with this news. Now they can
(12.08.10)
sleep better. LOL!
4. If we know where the weapons cashes are..

Yes, that's the way hit them before they do.
5. #3; Doesn't even sign their name
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (12.08.10)
When you make silly remarks, that so far have proved wrong, at least here on the talk back posts. I guess I wouldn't sign my name either. BTW it's not about sleeping better, it's about not letting their unprovoked attacks go unanswered. So Hamas fired some rockets and mortar shells at civilians targets (war crimes) and Israel put a tunnel temporarily out of commission, and destroyed some of their weapons. But that was enough for the Hamas leaders to go into hiding.
6. Right . . .
Ridiculousness ,   Nowhere, nohow   (12.08.10)
And why would Hamas do something that benefits only Israel, and does nothing but hurt their credibility? More "attacks" without any wounded? That hurts Hamas, and benefits Israel. It's a stretch to believe Hamas is serving the P.R. interests of Ersatz Israel. Are they saying Hamas is brutally incompetent? If so, why worry about if they're all as bumbling as Boris and Natasha? Random rockets that don't harm anyone serves only the purposes of the occupier, since it justifies their violence. No, this is Israel's way of ramping up the murder machine again due to a few countries' recognition of Palestine. Maybe they figure when the international community comes over they'll be able to point at the ruins of Gaza and say, "See? Nobody lives here, it's just a hopelessly irradiated dead zone. Nothing to see here . . ." Stop accepting official explanations of what's going on. The officials are lying to you, they have always lied to you, their lies have been vetted and confirmed as lies and they refuse to retract them, knowing that propaganda cannot fail if it admits the deception. In the end they could care less about their own people as well, so long as nobody brings to light the deception playing out . . .
