This is a great development, may this go ahead and others like it! I wish them success and hope this will become a trend!

3. Kashrut Certificate
Freddy ,   Israel   (01.19.11)
Palestinians don't want any Jewish product from disputed territories...why should we want Palestinian products from same disputed territories ? Boycott them ......
4. kosher thina
David ,   HERZLIA,ISRAEL   (01.19.11)
Hope they get the certificate, we need more commercial relations that will benefit Israel and Palestine. Politics is not enough... need commerce.Hope the Rabbis will be cooperative and find a solution.
5. I look forward to trying it
Charlie Hall ,   Bronx, NY   (01.19.11)
as soon as it gets the hechsher. I hope it gets exported to the US.
6. #3 Many of the antizionist ultra orthodox...
Dorothy Friend ,   Tel Aviv   (01.19.11)
...have been buying Palestinian products over Israeli ones for years. Nothing new.
7. Boycott
Shimon ,   Poleg   (01.19.11)
As a Jew and an Israeli I wish them the best of luck and only good can come from this. If Jews were as evil and small minded as the anti-semites we would be screaming for Boycott and BDS and other crap. We are above such nonsense. I'll buy their product if it's Kosher and this is a good thing
8. #3 Is correct! Why buy their products?
jason white ,   afula,israel   (01.19.11)
Why put fellow Israelis out of work? Even with cameras, it would be easy to poison a batch for the Israeli market. Why buy from the same factories that the anti Zionist "jews" buy from?
9. NIS 20,000 for te'uda = Kosher Nostra
Ex-Orthodox Jew   (01.20.11)
The same goes with the more and more stringent kasherut requirements.
10. To Ben and Ex Orth. Yes it IS important
R.T ,   USA   (01.20.11)
Having worked in 4 different meat factories, I can tell you it IS important to have further supervision. Here it the USA the USDA is next to worthless in terms of sanitation and health. If you go to "less developed" areas where concepts of sanitation are worse, or their may be a nationalistic reason to ignore the ingredients list...then ( good) Kashruth becomes another source of inspection. I fail to see how the Rabanut could give Hashgacha without a "Mashgiach Tamidis" ( full time overseer)
11. Nablus Tahini
Neal Rothner ,   Hashmonaim, Israel   (01.20.11)
Great idea. But, 2 problems arises. 1. How can the Kashrut supervisor get in to do his job? 2. If the supervisor gets in, how does he get out, alive. Neal the Hasmonian
