Palin is NOT a quitter. After winning the 2008 Election, Obama was not satisfied to see Palin as Governor of Alaska. He wanted to knock her off. So, he recruited poor, stupid people to attack Palin with all kinds of frivolous lawsuits. Palin decided she has to confront Obama head on politically. So, she stepped out of her work and spent her time writing her book, and leading out the Tea Party Movement in campaigning for the Republican in dethroning the Lefists and capturing the House of Representatives (Congress) in the November 2010 Election. Ergo, Obama got a taste of his medicine when the Democrat lost Congress to the Republican. He thought he could get rid of Palin politically. Instead, Palin has emerged to be one of the top national political figures in America who will insure that Obama does not get reelected in 2012.
32. Palin (goddess forbid!) as president....
Dorothy Friend ,   Tel Aviv   (01.24.11)
...she won't pardon Pollard either, so don't stand around waiting. If President Bush the 2nd didn't pardon him, and he was oh, so such a big buddy of Israel, there must be stuff about his crimes that were kept quiet. Maybe Pollard agreed to life in prison because knew if his other spying capers were made public there would have been demands for the death penalty. He was a greedy adventurere and it caught up with him. He would betray Israel too, were the price right.

Pollard got caught spying - he was jailed - he knew the risks involved and he was paid very well for his services. I'm sick of hearing about him already. He is serving a sentence because he committed a crime. Deal with it! And horror of horrors, what if he is released? is he going to come here and plonk himself in our midst? Are we going to have to hear him moan and whine on a daily basis of how he helped us and how much he wants now in return? Crickey, I hope not – but something tells me that’s what’ll happen. Bibi ease up on the free Pollard issue, it might well come back and bite you on the bum.

...no US president has considered pardoning him. I really wonder what he did that was kept secret.

That is the most creative spin on Palin quitting I've read! Congrats! We all know the truth is she wanted to cash in on her fame rather than serve the people who elected her. There was NOTHING preventing her from fulfilling the responsibilities she assumed when she ran as governor. Be honest with yourself, if a democrat in the same position had quit like Palin, you repubs would have rightly lambasted them. Palin's only ambition is to separate believers like you from your last dime!

You must have been intoxicated with the Leftist anti-Palin vitriol. Have you ever read Palin's books? Have you examined the horrible vitriol that the Leftists spew not just on Palin but also on George Bush. Atlas Shrugs has gathered all the materials on their venom. Only in America could they defame people with impunity. In other countries they would end up in jail.

You are wrong about Palin. And don't equate Palin with Bush. Bush didn't pardon Pollard because he surrounded himself with AntiSemites. His father is an AntiSemite whose close friend and associate is James Baker the AntiSemite. The Bush family has business ties with the Wahhabhist Saudi Kingdom. (Read "The Iron Triangle" [2003] by Dan Briody, and "House of Bush House of Saud" [2004] by Craig Unger). After 9/11, Bush walked hand in hand with the Saudi King in his Crawford Ranch, knowing so well that Saudi Wahhabhist Islamist-Jihadist terrorists attacked America on 9/11. He allowed the Saudis to leave the country after 9/11 without having the FBI examine them. And he even called the religion that spawns Islamist-Jihadist Terrorism around the world, 'religion of peace.' To correct Bush, a website called "www.thereligionofpeace.com" was created by patriotic Americans to document the daily atrocities of Islamist-Jihadism around the world.
38. Pollard
Avrohom Bilgrei ,   Zion   (01.25.11)
He violated the law (although the information was due Israel as a “ally”) in that he did not have the authority/imprimatur of superiors to disclose the information that he did, that having been said one might appropriately conclude he violated the law and was subsequently properly found guilty of the violation of releasing “classified” information punishable by 2-3 years imprisonment. No reasonable person could take issue with this fact, BUT 25 years to life is patently absurd as well as unprecedented. Such imprisonment constitutes a constitutional violation of cruel and unusual punishment.
39. Pollard was never tried for treason
Hadassah ,   Israel   (01.25.11)
Pollard was never tried for treason. You'd think that if he had been such a threat to America's safety that the American government would have insisted on him being put on trial for treason, but he wasn't. Pollard was convicted of passing on classified, not top secret, information to a friendly country, and he admitted this crime. Being as the information was due Israel according to a signed agreement Pollard should have been given less, and certainly no more than the maximum sentence for such a crime: 2-5 years in jail.

That may have been the deal. No trial for treason, no d.p. It looks more and more, with each retiring President who hasn't pardoned Pollard, that he did more than just spy for a friendly nation.
41. Arrogant behavior
Sheik Rattle & Roll ,   USA   (02.09.11)
He is a criminal traitor and must rot in jail. He betrayed his country and I am shocked that a government that depends on the US for diplomatic cover would even try to have this convicted traitor released. If any thing they should be having we are sorry for spying on you rally's.
