Macy Gray stated that she believed the Israelis were conducting apartheid. If she believes this distorted view then we SHOULD NOT WANT her to come to Israel. This should not be an issue. I am a fan of her, but since I read her statements I would not want her to come to Israel.

Israel and the Jewish people do not need the Macy Gray's of the world to get publicity and profit off anti-semitism (I had never heard of her before today). Israel has some of the best singers, composers and musicians on the planet. Who needs her? In the future, artists wishing to perform in Israel should have a clause in their contracts barring them from making anti-Israel statements.

Dear Macy Gray, For your information, Arabs can walk around Jewish cities, and they even work in the "settlements" and no one bothers them. However, a Jew cannot walk around Arab towns and villages - if he wants to stay alive, that is. Please check your facts about the situation here and don't just listen to one side of things. Provide Macy the truth, citing primary and original documents not opinion pieces about the history of the conflict. So few people know the truth about the situation, do not know that Arab-Israelis are respected in Israel and have the same rights as Jewish Israelis----share the truth with her. Welcome her!
