the court is absurd.
2. Israel is loosing it
Patrick ,   Paris France   (01.24.11)
What this VICTIM did to a terrorist is not correct, but due to the specific circumstances, and taking into account a state of great stress altering his judgment, he just should not be charged. But we know of judges who decided to release "John Denmamiuk" to show the world that they are excellent judges not carried away by their emotions and that Israel is a great democracy: in fact, they release a guy who was an accomplice in murdering jews. Wake up Israel!
3. I fail to see exactly what he did wrong!
Shmuel ,   Maale Adumim   (01.24.11)
if he had stabbed my wife he would not be sitting in Jail now!
4. I understand his reaction
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (01.24.11)
this terrorist had stabbed his wife . What he did was wrong , but to charge him for this .....
5. Terrorist still alive ?I hope he is crippled at least ....
Trumpeldor   (01.24.11)
6. Man slaugter not murder?
Josh   (01.24.11)
His rage and reaction is understandable. Is it premeditated murder or man slaughter?
7. It is much like Natan-Zada
Tel Avivoid ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (01.24.11)
I fully support this indictment. It reminds me of the case of Eden Natan-Zada. Twelve of the people who killed him after he opened fire on an Arab bus are being prosecuted for his murder. In both cases, prosecution is the correct choice. Regardless of circumstances, this is a nation of laws. Self defense is one thing, but murdering a perpetrator after the are incapacitated is blatantly unacceptable. It is up to the courts (and G-d) to punish people like Maswadi and Natan-Zada. Not a bereaved family member or a mob.
8. he is not a murderer but avenger of blood
ygalg ,   israel   (01.24.11)
9. murder is unjustified kill
ygalg ,   israel   (01.24.11)
to kill a terrorist who stabbed his wife is a justified kill. hence not a murder.
10. HONESTLY?
Alejandro ,   Berlin   (01.24.11)
Hm... someone stabs the one I love... there won't even be a remaining corpse of the terrorist! And I think anyone would have the same reaction. I really do not get what is all this "pseudo-justice"...
11. wherr would we end...
david   (01.24.11)
if somebody who did someboy end whould have to be responsible for it. are you all nuts? that guy broke the law. he tried to take the law in his own hands. and that was not after he saw that the terrorist who attacked his wife was not arrested. no, the terrorist was arrested. he even asked the soldiers before who the terrorist was ( after he had attacked somebody else mistaken for the terrorist). he should go to jail for that.
12. The Terrorist is STILL alive??
Ariella ,   Jeruslaem   (01.24.11)
If any Terrorist dared to stab or harm any of my loved ones and I could do something about it... there is no doubt in my mind that the terrorist would not be sitting in jail but rather... A terrorist is a terrorist and should receive no mercy or reprieve!!
13. #4 Typical lawlesss response
Able   (01.24.11)
14. 50K lawyers in Israel with nothing to do.
Al   (01.24.11)
As much as I try to boost Israel comes along a story like this and I have to shake my head. Israel if you want to be taken seriously by anyone, start by taking your ass out of your head.
15. Under the law, the prosecution is
Robert Haymond ,   Israel/Canada   (01.24.11)
compelled to charge David Mizrahi. He will probably be found not guilty, however, due to a finding of "temporary insanity". That finding shouldn't take a lot of convincing. Personally, I would have done the same as Mr. Mizrahi and felt very justified in doing so.
16. If this is Justice, to hell with it.
Reuben ,   Tel Aviv   (01.24.11)
To hell with our judicial system, the judges in our court ara a bunch of lefties. They only care about the palestanian human rights and what the world would say. Bunch of hypocrites. I would rather be the aggresor than the victim. The man did nothing wrong, I would have done the same.

Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (01.24.11)
The attack on his wife wasn't the first terrorist attack Mizrahi suffered. In 2007, a son was murdered by an Arab driver who rammed his car. A few months later, his daughter was shot dead in her home in Tzur Hadassah.
18. The gas station security guard fired at Maswadi ,...
split ,   US   (01.24.11)
So the gas stations got security guards too - Does anyone in Israel hold a real job ? ,...
19. WTF???!!
Uzi ,   Beit Shemesh   (01.24.11)
Are the prosecutors looney?????
20. MIZRAHI is a victime...
ORA ,   Jerusalem   (01.24.11)
and should be treated like a victime. First his son was murdered, than his daughter, and than his wife by arabs. How can we expect that he stays without reaction ,when his wife was murdered? Why do we need judges ,if judgment is done strictly following the law.A robot would do. Mizrahi should be send in a kind of sanatorium, where he can come back to him.Have people in the justice system a stone instead of a heart,to be able to beat a fallen desesperate man ?Come on, HELP this man! Be "Menschen".
21. ATTENTION: ALL SHOULD READ #17
Scott   (01.24.11)
If this is true - NOBODY could blame this guy for going berserk. If there are still some who want to stick to the 'rules' after learning this - good luck.
22. number 3, i tell you what he did wrong
dudu ,   JHB   (01.24.11)
He didnt finish the Job. he should of parked the car on him, not driven over him
23. Patrick
Rashi ,   Ra'anana   (01.24.11)
You really have a problem with Jews avenging blood, don't you? Pity... My response is simple Patrick. Had the terrorist not stabbed that woman in her neck, he'd be walking today. Theres a price to pay for terrorism. He got off easy. Deal with it.
24. David Mizrahi ....
E. ,   Israel   (01.24.11)
.... should have received a medal for his action! It's a pity that he did not kill the terrorist. I perfectly understand what he did and I would probably have done the same.
25. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned etc.
Moragh   (01.24.11)
He wouldn't be sitting in a comfy prison today. On the spot, I would have ended his life. You are right, to hell with Israeli lawyers. If that bunch in Israel are lawyers, they surely BOUGHT their Diplomas??? I certainly know that in S..... diplomas can be easily bought at a newspaper store and cost only cents.
26. E. Israel #24
Moragh   (01.24.11)
me too! but I go crazy when I see injustice done. As far as the terrorist is concerned I would have run over him bone for bone until he would still live but be a useless vegetable to himself and to society. How terribly, terribly sad for Mr. Mizrahi. As for the lawyers..... ach! no further comment other than to say "use them as toilet paper." You will be blessed Mr. Mizrahi. And the murderer will receive a bad end, mark my word!
27. too bad
Bearded Boegyman ,   Yehud Medinta   (01.24.11)
The guy needs a heavier car.
28. to nr. 7 from Tel Aviv
Lya ,   Modiin   (01.24.11)
Even how legally correct, you only are showing how void and unhuman you really are. Am sure all talkbackers here understand the LAW, but also understanding that there is human feelings involved, and mental tiredness from constant terror, fear and stress, When they think themselves in this man situation, they put themselves into his shoes, and wishing, not to be in his shoes. They remembered being someones husband, wife, child or parent. No one in here really needs to hear your self-righteous legal correctness. Be courageus enough to be SHUT UP, even if you think you are capable standing still when your beloved person is been stabbed (if you have one of course). You too, are not a JUDGE here to say your saying.
29. A different question: Why does it take 14 months ...
Tobias   (01.24.11)
to bring the case to court?
30. #7, #18
Solomon ,   Bklyn   (01.24.11)
#7- The people who killed Eden Natan-Zada should either have not been charged, or quickly absolved due to "temporary insanity". #18 - Most people in Israel hold a real job, including Security Guard. Security Guard is a necessity, not a make-work position, caused by our "Peace Loving Neighbors".
