If it's such a reviled place with such a repressive government, why would all the refugees from the Egyptian uprising be running there like it was the promised land? Hmm. Now those that smuggle themselves into Gaza, who cares? Unless they start up with Israel, and apparently some escapees from the Egyptian prisons, have already gone back to Gaza. But in Gaza let Hamas worry about them. The IDF and drones should already have been watching the border. So the only thing to decide is what to do with the ones you catch.

To be sure Mark,as I write this, the IDF are closely watching our border with Egypt. May G*d bless our soldiers & keep them safe.

Perhaps Israel should consider giving a hand to Egypt. Perhaps Israel should consider uniting itself to Arabs in the region,those who don't want the shiites in power,and give ,all together, a hand to Mubarak in order to curb this dangerous trap going on. Perhaps it is time to make a clever alliance with Arab countries -those who also fear whats going on; a long term and clever alliance ,in order to resolve this matter "once and for all". "The enemy of my enemy could become my (contractual)friend". (do not forget the contract with very clear terms!)

Keren, I am sure someone in our Government has phoned Mubarak to offer support. We never get to here the full news. Maybe Israel could reach out to neighbours, but as long as the Palestinians are screaming "occupation" I dont think we have much chance of a true & binding peace with any Arab state.

Ethiopians are smiling this week as a phenomenon called KARMA revealed itself. Egypt got its "comeuppance" If Muslim brotherhood takes power, the Egyptian government will declare war on Israel, Ethiopia will declare war on Egypt, all upper nile riparian countries will declare war against Egypt. Then we will start squeezing the nile flow by our hydroelectric dams, while Israel annexes the Sinai peninsula.
