1. IS THE GAME IS OVER?
john ,   Chino, USA   (01.31.11)
IS THE GAME IS OVER? I mean for America and Israel? It would be much better if we can start preparing our exit form not only Egypt but the entire middle-east, including Israel too. Yes, it looks like our hegemony and Israel's dictate will come to the end very soon. Hope, Obama can read what is written on the WALLS. Very soon we will see free, secular and fear free Israel, capital will be Jerusalem.
2. Israel : most stable country from Pakistan to Gibraltar.
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (01.31.11)
3. Welcome to Democratic Israel
Libyan Guy ,   Italy   (01.31.11)
We always new that it was fine for democratic Israel to have dictators ruling Arab countries as long as they served well the Zionistic agenda but being democratic and having a double face is not wise smart people like Jews, pity that +4000 years of your history did not teach you much but to be more and more egoistic.
4. GOD RESPONSE BIBI! MERKEL IS A TWIT!
stude ham   (01.31.11)
5. Obama, Merkel ABANDON Mubarak / Cairo
Steve Klein   (01.31.11)
Obama (America's first Muslim-born president) invited members of Muslim Brotherhood to attend his June 2009 speech at Al Azhar University in Cairo Egypt. President Mubarak did not attend the speech. According to another news site, Chancellor Merkel had the audacity to somehow link Jews building new homes or apartments in Israel to the chaos in Egypt. Merkel "calls on Israel to stop settlement building.... in light of events in Egypt"
6. they said it to the former goverment

7. No Radical takeover !.
Orao. ,   Srbia.   (01.31.11)
German chancellor calls on Mubarak to negotiate with non-violent protestors Merkel said Berlin did not "abandon" Cairo. "We cannot set a double standard and say that western principles apply only to some countries. I spoke on the phone with President Hosni Mubarak and told him what I think needs to be done – pursue dialogue with non-violent protestors who want to negotiate with the regime," she said. Comment - The Right way forward. Further - During his meeting with Merkel, Netanyahu called to tighten sanctions against Iran and said all options remain on the table. "I told the chancellor that over the past 16 years there has only been one year in which Iran suspended its nuclear program, and that was when (Iran) believed the US would resort to the other option. That was in 2003," the PM told reporters. Comment - So it has not worked then !. Further - Merkel agreed, saying Iran's nuclear program "poses a threat to Israel and the entire world. Addressing Iran's nuclear program, the PM said, "Economic sanctions are not enough. There must be a military threat at the end of the tunnel to increase the effectiveness." Comment - So 16 Years of threaths has not effect anything more than a lot of waist time, spent on trying to talk Iran to Death. Action and not Threathening Words are required. Orao.Srbia.
8. Radical's takeover in Egypt
Jack ,   LA, USA   (01.31.11)
It seems that all left wing ideas implemented by Israeli governments for 30 years are done. If Radicals take over Egypt, Israel must immediately occupy and annex Gaza, Judea and Samaria otherwise this is the end of Israel.
9. To Lybian guy in Italy
FG   (01.31.11)
Could you explain to us WHY you generalize the Jewish population as if they had a uniform view concerning Egypt? Isn't this attitude itself deeply antidemocratic? Just because the ruling establishment is afraid - with full justification, mnid you - that doesn't mean that many of us don't wish the Egyptian - and for that matter, the Lybian! - peole their deserved freedom and democracy. I hope this helps you.
10. Israel has never had it so good
Adam Apple ,   UK   (01.31.11)
Israel has never had it so good, it will now forever regret not seizing the countless opportunities provided by the Arab world for legitimacy over the last 30 years.
11. strong allies
alexi   (01.31.11)
6 decades after the holocaust, for a number of germans represented by their excellent able merkel, israelis and germans exchange equally and with respect. That has to do with the israelification of the jew, a strong upright independent jew who can defend his own homeland. That is called self respect and it is essential. Ariel sharon has it. Moshe yaalon has it. Shamir has it. Chaim Herzog had it. Olmert has none of it, a low scoundrel waiting to go to jail and offering all manner of concessions adn bragging about it while he told winograd that their criticism of him is invalid And ehud barak does not have it in spite of his military background, as he offered so many concessions and refused to hit the syrian nuclear reactor and limited the commmandos to paintball guns. Beilin and livni don't have it so they compensate with concessions and behave as if they are ashamed of the israeli narrative. Here it is. You meet with abbas and erekat, the bradford graduate of the PLO. And you say you want to retain 30% of the west bank, no link across jerusalem., with idf stationed on the jordan which would be under israeli sovereignty. And they get no right of return exept to their state .They will yell and walk out. Let them. When they start up the violence, with brute force you throw them in jail and clamp them down like the iranians did to their people. End of story. Is it so hard?? Why were olmert and livni not able to use what eshkol calls good negotiating tactics. Why? Because they are weak jews who no one respects.
12. Radical Islam
citizen   (01.31.11)
If this uprising is not contained, radical Islam takes over under the Moslem Brotherhood who are lurking in the shadows, not making too much noise but they are well organized and ready to pounce. I cannot see democracy resulting from these protests, unfortunately.
13. They may, but radicals are rulling Israel
Dror ,   TA   (01.31.11)
so???
14. Abu Mazen ?
Y.G. ,   israel   (01.31.11)
Nothing personal, Bibi, but have you been smoking something illegal? Abbas could be living in the next room and it's still not going to make peace come. Why can you not see it? You're an intelligent man with a fantastic intelligence service behind you. Are they not telling you the truth? There will NEVER be peace, because the Arabs will NEVER accept the presence of a single Jew in what they consider a Muslim 'waqf' (i.e. from the Med to the Tigris). It's not about land. It's a religious war, and giving them parcels here and there will NOT satisfy them. The only thing that will stop the conflict is for us to leave this country, or for us to die. They will NEVER accept us. Wake up, PLEASE!
15. lieberman says it as it is
john ,   ireland   (01.31.11)
#14 is spot on.i believe bibi does realize that the palestinians are playing a big game, its a religious crazy ideology they have, but i think bibi is clever,he knows well what there like he is tryin to show the world that a diplomatic push doesnt work.its the politicians in the west that are ignorant to the radical ideology.i believe bibi knows full well but he is trying to be diplomatic.the western politicians NEED TO BRING TO LIGHT THIS IDEOLOGY THAT OPPOSES PEACE.it cant be ignored.this ideology is buried in there hearts.why will they listen to politicians from west?THE WEST NEEDS TO WAKE UP AND SUPPORT ISRAEL.THE LAND IS THERES.

18. History or story?
Emilio GF ,   Sao Paulo   (02.01.11)
The Jewish people hasn't more than 4,000 years of history. The story begins with the writing and the Jews did not write before 600 BC. And yet, write myths and legends. It took a lot to come a Herodotus Jew (Ben Mattithyahu?).
