ElBaradei has been waiting in the wings for months,if not years oggling to be Egypts president. The idea is not only repugnant,but it would give Israel another headache that it could do without.Let's face it, he is married to an Iranian lady who's antecedents are connected to the Mullah's of Iran.During his tenure he was not overly chiding the Iranian Mullahs,nor their MOUTHPIECE Ahmedinejad on their nuclear ambition...Rather laise -fair in that quarter. He would be a disaster for Israel,which would most definitely(in my opinion )usher in the Muslim Brotherhood who have been waiting for this opportunity for 60+ years. The US is being far too appeasing at present,and if I may, democracy in Egypt or in any other Arab state in the ME is an illusion.It will not happen now,or in the future. Perhaps in a couple of hundred years or so if at all.? Perish the thought.They are so imbued in their Islamism it will take much longer than hitherto.. Firstly Egytians are not starving. Same BS we hear about the Gazans Have you seen any skeletal egyptians ? secondly the most important aspect: Egypt sits in its most important and precious canal.: 1- Suez canal where all ships pass through with their oil cargoes. 2 - The tourist industry But since I have pointed out the two most important ones, the rest is a mere bagatelle. Remember without the American largess the country cannot survive. They have no oil,that in a way it is a blessing.We are replete with oil rich Arab countries,not forgeting the Africans,The S.Latin Americans,Iran etc. More oil will be death globally. Time has long passed to find(Israel is trying it seriously) to find alternative energy to aleviate the HUNGER for the viscus oil that is upsetting the global atmosphere. There it is as far as I am concerned.
