1. The headline
Mike Carmel ,   Rishon-le-Zion   (02.07.11)
The headline is misleading. It should start with the word "SOME".
2. #1 exactly my thoughts
(02.07.11)

3. #1 & #2: SOME at first....however....
Israeli 2   (02.07.11)
"According to Deputy Foreign Minister Daniel Ayalon, this is the first step towards the cancellation of the US visa requirements for Israelis." Cancellation of VISA requirements for Israelis? This is LONG overdue but GREAT news.
4. As an Israeli in Britain, they no problem, why USA make
Eran   (02.07.11)
us do extra checks. Israelis land at Heathrow and get a holiday visa like everyone else from non threatening countries, but America interviews us weeks before we even book a weekend in New York. A joke..
5. Who want's to go to the US?
Rich ,   Toronto, Canada   (02.07.11)
The whole country is going down the tubes. Why should Israelis give up their privacy to go to a country which is on the verge of collapse?
6. Visa Waiver Program and Israel
Chanawashdc ,   Washington DC   (02.07.11)
Israel will never qualify for the program for two reason: 1) The overstay rate of Israelis is too high, and 2) Israel will never agree to full reciprocal access for U.S. citizens. (FYI. That means U.S. citizens born in Saudi Arabia, Gaza or in the U.S. but with Arabic last names.)
7. Does this include Arabs from Israel?
John Robey ,   Austin Texasw   (02.07.11)

10. For "some Israeli citizens"
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.07.11)

11. Danny
Chanawashdc ,   Washington DC   (02.07.11)
No Danny, Actually, even if U.S. citizens of Arab origin are allowed to enter they are given restricted visas or visas for a shorter period of time - not the usual three months. In order to qualify for the Visa Waiver Program, Israel has to agree that all U.S citizens will get the same access UNLESS there are clear grounds to refuse someone entry altogether. That means three months for everyone.
12. @ 4 Eran
Sheik Rattle & Roll ,   USA   (02.08.11)
That is because a significant amount of Israeli's violate American law such as over staying there visa and working in malls selling "MUD" without the proper work requirements and walking around neighborhoods selling cheap art pretending to be artist and not to mention the moving scams.

Your dual-loyalty and bigotry is always amazing. Two-passports and always spewing your advice out how Israel should do this, who is a "real" Israeli bla, bla, bla. Make up your mind kid. Who or what are you? Living in a cushy place in the US and probably visiting Israel once in awhile... hard work in a Kibbutz (Like I did in the 70s) would be the perfect cure for you and NO - I am not a member of the chosen ones.
