Salma, you have no idea, but I really believe that the majority of IDF soldiers would have done the same and I do not think that this was an exception. One day you may realize this. I too was once in a position where we were being bombarded with rocks, bricks and bottles and a little Palestinian girl was trying to cross the street and was hit with a rock. Without having to even think about it, I jumped up, ran and jumped on top of her and saved her although I was hit with rocks. Everyone of my soldiers was about to do the same, but I reacted first. Would I do that again? Yes Would you do that if the situation were reversed, I don't know, but I would hope so.
