I live near the old central bus station so I see lots of Sudanese and Eritreans walking around in groups. Israelis are paranoid and the fear is because they are black men. I have never seen any violence or intimidation from them- only towards them. Shame on us.

I'm from Miami as well!....where do you live? Aventura? Sunny Isles? South Beach? Most likely you live where WE all live....in one of those beautiful, upscale, predominently Jewish areas where there is not a sinlge black person living next to us. I have no choice due to my husband's job to currently live in Israel and let me tell you that what is going here is an absolute disaster and YES the Sudanese can be threatening and are not always innocent. I live here - I see and live how the population here has changed in the past 3 years and not for the better. I hope one day to be back in Miami.

I do not "control" the women in my family. If my sister or brother married a Sudanese, I would judge him/her only by who he is as a person and not by status, religion, race, etc. like anyone else. Every country has illegal immigrants. How many Israeli's violate American & European law every year to work in the malls selling "MUD" and cheap Chinese gadgets so they can make more money in the malls in 3 months than they could make in a year in Israel. I would make an easy guestimate at 10,000 or more and a fraction of that never returns to Israel. The problem is with enforcement in Israel. If the people see the problem so does the government because for the most part the people are the government. So when the people say enough is enough then you will see deportations on a mass scale. So get used to it unless you the people say enough is enough.
