2. #1 Amir, "this country" is your country
I know that there is still racism or segregation against Druzes, independently of what they brought to our society, and I regret that deeply. Maybe one day soon it will disappear and we will appreciate each others even more. This move from our government is already a nice step forward. I have an infinite respect for you Druzes, and, as an israeli, I am very grateful for your engagement in the various aspects of our social/military/political life. Living together implies duties and rights, you accomplish your duties as everyone recognizes it, and you have the right to ask for more autonomy, in the framework of our political organization (which is far from perfect, I agree). But you need, you or the heads of your communities, to be more involved in the political apparatus to defend your rights. You will find jews who share your cause, because a peaceful integration, in the respect our our differences, is a gage for a better common future.
