1. I believe him
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (02.13.11)
Barak is a well-known genius whose predictions are almost always right. I believe him when he says Israel-Egypt relations aren't are at risk and Jordan is strong. He was wrong only a few insignificant times: He ran away from Lebanon because he was sure Hezbolla would never attack Israel. He surrendered to Arafat's demands because he was certain Arafat would never attack Israel. He supported the ethnic cleansing of Jews because he was sure that Hamas would never take over Gaza
2. Whatever Barak says ....
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (02.13.11)
The opposite is probably true. Ehud Barak has made a career out of being wrong, making blunder after blunder, self-interest being his only goal. So when Barak says not to worry, we should all be very worried.
3. As long as the Akhvan wants to be part of the government,...
Persian CAT   (02.13.11)
I think that's fair and democratic. I am more worried about the Zionist Brotherhood that created a colonial settlement and maintains itself through terror, occupation, and Apartheid.
4. #1
Golan ,   modiin   (02.13.11)
I loved it.
5. #2 You Beat Me 2 It
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (02.13.11)
If Barak says an egg is fried ,then it is boiled .If he says it is poached then it is scrambled .Take his egg with a pinch of salt...(he will have egg on his face ).
6. ikhwan? and your own?
observer   (02.13.11)
what if Egypt say it despises Lieberman and Shas party, will Israel ban then in support of Democracy?
7. Persian CAT #3 you are like Barak
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (02.13.11)
You state the exact opposite of the facts. The largest colonial power in the world is the ARABS. Their occupation of our land is illegal. And the only ones that practice apartheid are EVERY MUSLIM country in the world. We do not have a single law that could be remotely considered apartheid, every Muslim country does have several that are even more racist than South Africa ever had.
8. WITH PEOPLE LIKE BARAK IN CHARGE
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (02.13.11)
I feel very safe and secure here.....Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
9. For every new Barak interview, I stash more for the war.
Abe ,   Israel   (02.13.11)
A can of beef here, a bottle of water there. I hear the jets flying high every other day and contrast it with Barak's soothing comments. The days of war are fast coming, probably the worst war yet for Israel's civillian population. But the real losers are the many, many, many arab and persian civillians who are going to lose their lives in the backlash, and countries who are going to lose a century of infrastructure and progress. The devastation they are going to suffer is terrible. Their graves are already marked and they are very many. The Islamic murderers who are bringing this war upon as all, they are going to get what's coming, real real bad.
10. If there are free elections
IRAN#1   (02.13.11)
Islamic oriented parties win in a any muslim country! It's been proven before time and again from Turkey to Palestine. Stop deluding yourselves! The only way the Brotherhood not winning in Egypt is buying time and rigging the elections which is what the Junta is trying to do but the night is still very young!
11. This could happen around the world
D3C0D3 ,   USA   (02.15.11)
If politicians don't get on the same page as their people. The days of a few running their agenda (Barak) while the people feel helpless may be over. Rigged elections candidates not getting the same treatment (Ron Paul). People of these countries that have the guts to stand up for what they believe in. Would you do the same? My message to these countries is, you just got rid of one %&*!@%$ don't let another take control or all that lost their lives would be in vein. Watch out for anyone pushing ANY religious agendas. You need someone that their only concern is the welfare of their people all cultures, race, and religion.
