1. Oh, I don't think so
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.15.11)
I do think that the freedom-starved people of Iran are behind the mass demonstrations. They have had enough of the primitive mullahs. May G-d watch over the brave Iranians who continue to demonstrate against the repressive regime in Iran. They know they risk torture and the noose. I wish them well.
2. Riots in Iran
Steve a ,   manchester   (02.15.11)
Well, if the USA & Israel are responsible for the efforts of the people of Iran to rid it of its despotic government, they must be doing something right !
3. But wait, didn't they support the protesters in Egypt?
Tahl   (02.15.11)
So, having the masses riot and call for the end of dictatorship is not so grand when it comes to you own back yard, eh?
4. Revolt
Jorge el judio ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (02.15.11)

8. Why print this obvious propaganda?
Jay3 ,   Israel   (02.15.11)
9. Ahemdinejad, I would be PROUD if Israel is behind this!
(02.15.11)
That would mean that the Iranian people will be forever in debt to Israel for freeing them from under the tyrannical Jihadist regime. Yes, I'd like very much to believe that it is us doing your people a favor, but I;m afraid that the truth is much less romantic: the Iranian people are sick and tired of decades of genocidal tyranny, oppressive Islamist dictatorship which got them nowhere, if you don't count Iran becoming the pariah of the civilized world, boycotted by every country and hated by the other Muslims. So, if you don't want to hang, leave Iran together with your Ayatullahs. I wonder if Qatar has enough room for your inflated ego and hatred.
10. THE PIGS FLY DEFENSE
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (02.15.11)
Sorry, your people are NOT that stupid anymore, nice try. Heck, who didn't know this was coming? Yea, it wasn't the 64 + hangings last month (including 8 protesters). It's Not that people are sick of being manipulated by liars who rigged the last elections. It's not the lack of freedom, no freedom of the press, or the tear gas your government started to use almost immediately. It's Israel? It's not your own people following the Egyptians who you recently praised. Your people understand whether it's a dictator like Mubarak, or your phony Islamic tyranny, both deny all freedoms. The people are sick of it.
11. I very much doubt it.
noa ,   israel   (02.15.11)
But if we were responsible for it, I would be quite proud. After all Iran has become a country that threatens and predicts the demiss of another country and who oppresses its' own people. I would be ashamed if we had done nothing to stop Ahmadinijad.
12. Mr. Larijani, why are you soo ungrateful
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (02.15.11)
to the Muslim in the White House...has he not always been your most steadfast supporter...???
13. Obama will never say to Khomenei what he said to Mubarak
William ,   Israel   (02.15.11)
The US pushed Muabarak to the curb with such haste but hasn't yet called for the same in Iran even 2 years after protests against a faulty election there. That's because the Mullahs were the Dems great experiment, under Carter. Obama is simply towing the party line and helping the Dems, and an old peanut man, save face, on the backs of millions of lives.
14. #7,Scott...PLEASE, can you write some-
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (02.15.11)
thing different...not always the same old story...it is sooo boring...(only once, please)...lol
15. How Convienent For The Depost
Brazen   (02.15.11)
Illegal regime of the manglomaniac mad mullahs to utter such statements. For telling the truth is a tenet of G-d fearing people world wide and most religions. However everything the world thinks and says is contrary to iranian thoughts, why is this because they are SOOOO far out of touch from reality brainwashed by Hate and Misinformation. Their people in iran have endured, Total Isolation at the behest of their beloved ayotolia the puppet master. How much more should a people any people have to swallow before they have had enough? Stay Tuned!!!
16. Revolt
mark ,   canada   (02.15.11)
Yes, isn't it amazing--that the high priests of Iran were only a week ago encouraging revolt in Egypt. Egypt and its people are a great nation compared to what Iran is these days. Didn't Iran put its bearded boys and thugs on the streets BEFORE any demonstrations. The whole world is behind this revolt. All we can say....it is about time that the people woke up in these countries. Democracy--Freedom-- by the people and for the people. What is so hard to understand about that. Democracy doesn't start wars.
17. #13, William, I agree, but...ahmm...
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (02.15.11)
the old wimp Khomeni has long ago embarked on his eternal journey...to H E L L...!!!! LOLL
18. Typical
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (02.15.11)
When things go wrong in the Islamic fascist regimes we and America are the first they blame. In a way we are part of the reason for the protests. Our mere existence proves that it is possible to have rights and peace at the same time. The protests are totally because of the thugocracy in power.
19. BEVERE -
Orao. ,   Srbia.   (02.15.11)

20. #17 - hahaha, good catch Chris
William ,   Israel   (02.15.11)
It was my haste that I mentioned Khomeni. You've seen one murderous mullah, you've seen them all.
21. Who are they to talk?
D3C0D3 ,   USA   (02.15.11)
Israel and US need to remember they are not immune to the same. Politicians world over are starting to actually work and listen to the people. Meet the new boss the people.
22. "We have proof US.. reached out through phone calls"
William ,   Israel   (02.15.11)
The US, Israel, and Egypt is now personally calling people in Iran by telephone to join protests? How would that phone call go? "Hi, are we reaching the man of the house? Yes, hi. My name is..um, Ahmed and I'm calling from the US. Are you satisfied with your current govt ruling party? Well, you're in luck because today only we have a special going on that would allow you to overthrow your govt for only a few hours of your time. "we're asking for you to join street protests and battle the Basij, and in return get democracy, and it will only cost you a few hours of your time. The events in Tunisia and Egypt make this a perfect time to grab this opportunity. "how many hours can I put you down for, sir? Do you have any family or friends you would recommend us sign up for this limited time opportunity, as well?" Is the US using an offshore call center located in New Dehli like my cable company?
23. #8 - because it always brings a smile to our faces
William ,   Israel   (02.15.11)
to watch Islamists squirm.
24. #10 - ranting was for parliamentary consumption
William ,   Israel   (02.15.11)
not for the benefit of the Iranian people. The ruling despotic regime is simply so enamored by themselves that they can't fathom that someone else many not love and worship them as much as they do of themselves.
25. You have it all wrong.
Steven Wilson ,   Anchorage, Alaska   (02.15.11)
Obama is just screwing with you...you rock head. He is just making bets with his basketball buddies, on how many people he can get on the streets of any middle eastern country at a given time. Just because he uses Facebook and calls for a Mob to show up in Tehran....does it mean he wants to overthrow your government. He sure has won a lot of money on all the chumps that have shown up though. Why would we want a bunch of 5th century people to catch up. Stay United and covered up in a rug.
26. Ape man of Tehran your next tick tock tick tock
Avi ,   Israel   (02.16.11)
