31. Not just Nazr Allah and his bunker
Robert ,   NY USA   (02.16.11)
All these anti-Israel nut cases seem to be falling in an unforseen hole. And keep obliviously following the one ahead right into it. Such is the fate of those who can't admit they are wrong. But on the on the other foot, if Netanayau is refering to the 21st century as looking to the west, their morals have gone to the 9th century BC. Reguardless of outward appearance.
32. To: No. 15
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.16.11)
"If I were an Israeli leader, I would be worried." No need for you to worry. You're not intelligent enough to be an Israeli leader.
33. To: No. 3
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (02.16.11)
Scared? Of someone living in an underground bunker? You must be kidding. "Shiver" is the wrong word, by the way. The word you're looking for is "scorn."
34. Will "powerfully defend" be enough?!
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (02.16.11)
Israel has to explain and motivate sincerely to relevant governments, that in the next war forced upon the Jewish State the only remaining option will be expansive defense to make war impossible after that. This will be the more realistic and ethical way to achieve true balance in ME, a BIG Jewish Israel (nonviolent transfer) as guarantee against Jihadism and for development of true Arab/Muslim democracy and civil society.
35. you jewish have to understand...
amal khoury ,   Beirut   (02.16.11)
the bunker is actually very nice, general nasrallah has really turned the bunker into a beautiful home. he upgraded the plumbing and has a new shower, it would be nicer if it had windows, but its home, and he can make sandwiches for guests, and he has CNN on the big screen television.

ricardo Macher ,   Karne Shomron IL   (02.16.11)
Sorry, dude, I did not want to be racists. We Jews CANNOT be racists after all we suffered.. .but when I read comments like yours, i get furious. They are not inttelligent al all, sorry. What the press here says about Nasrallah is the most believed, but a stuborrned one, closed in his own paranoical world. In this sense, yes, he believes in that world and drag people to live in it. Conquer Gallille? Do you really believe in this? We have the most formidable army in the Middle East, we have the best training... how can a Jordanian, the only reasonable people in this region, to believe in that sh*t? If you want to have a serious debate, allow me to write to your mail dude... Shalom, salam

I am not intilligent enough, not a killer and not a jew therefore i will never be an Israeli leader. And by the way I am not worried, I am assured.

LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (02.16.11)
Ad mea v'esrim .More power to his elbow .Nasrallah lloks very stupid ,hiding in his hole.
40. #28
יעקב עגר ,   ירושלים   (02.16.11)
He is the most believed, you are right. That is very sad though. People say he's a hero, what did he do? He sent a few angry teenagers with rockets into hospitals and schools, shot a few rockets then hid in a cave. Netanyahu is simply telling him that if he's going to talk shit then actually do something.
41. hahaha

Ariel ,   Tel Aviv   (02.16.11)
Well, that he does what he says, unfortunately I have to admit that is true (last war he delivered one by one) but regarding the Galilee....I think he should think it over. We make mistakes only once. I suggest he finds a deeper bunker this time
46. 28 guy from occupied Jordan

"We Jews CANNOT be racists after all we suffered" Can't get the relation between suffering and racism. you may mail me if you want. In 2006, this "formidable" army failed to achieve any of its objective. It's not that I believe or don't believe that Hizbullah can, but I admire the man's tenacity and determination. Finally..since when that a "formidable" army is a guarantee of success.
48. @9 Amein :)
Isaac ,   Hyderabad, India   (02.16.11)
fantastic ...Amein to that !!
49. Iranian dimension
Hussain kazim ,   Kut ,Iraq   (02.16.11)
Although our region is feasted with conspiracy theories , I hasten to say we are underestimating the ideological dimension , The Hezballah is extremely loyal to the qum in Iran , hence, the Iranian recent troubles domestically have important bearings. When Nassar Allah threats. The Iranian strategy is well known by now, it has two elements, firstful, concentrate on the Palestians/Arab /Israeli conflict , again for two reasons, one weaken Israelis and. Embaras the Arabs, ; secondful, to gradually weaken Israel with the ultimate goal of Iranian hegemony of the whole region , they think this will happen once Israel is soundly defatted if not conquered. So far Iran is. Steadily achieving it's goals, but nobody knows the end game .
50. Barak
daz ,   uk   (02.16.11)
It was Barak who started this provocation by touring the Lebanese border saying there could be another war so it's no surprise Lebanon would retaliate.
51. Kole hakavode! Bravo.
Yaawqove ,   Israel   (02.16.11)
52. if the coward barak is defense minister
chaim.s ,   brooklyn ny   (02.17.11)
then they will again win the next war with Israel,Bibi, please get rid of this self hating leftist pathetic coward,or else you'll lose your country
53. #49 I sort of agree about Iran's strategy, but
zvi   (02.17.11)
it does not appear to be working particularly well. Israel is - militarily speaking - as strong as it has ever been. Its economy is stable. The Nasrallah statements are meant to create stupid ideas in the minds of Egyptian, Syrian and Jordanian hot-heads, and to distract from the protesters calling for the blood of Khamenei and the Special Tribunal that will indict senior Hezbollah figures. Hezbollah was unable to stop Israel from reaching the Litani in 2006 and was only able to kill a small number of Israelis, despite fighting on its own turf. Hezbollah LOST in 2006, and only the idiotic insistence on using mostly air power gave Nasrallah a "fig leaf" to avoid utter shame. Iran-supported Hamas got stepped on in 2009 (and most of the fighters followed Nasrallah's courageous lead and hid). Hezbollah's reputation in the region collapsed when it turned its guns against its fellow Lebanese in 2007 and when leaks from the Special Tribunal indicated that it would indict Hezbollah members for murdering Hariri. Hezbollah's Iranian patrons appear to be in some danger now. And now Nasrallah is setting up ridiculous objectives that he cannot possibly achieve. He really sounds desperate. That or he's given up running Hezbollah and has decided to do stand-up comedy instead. How ridiculous is Nasrallah's claim? In 2006, Hezbollah did most of its fighting by hiding in bunkers, laying small ambushes and firing rockets from villages in Lebanon. It managed not to lose Nasrallah's entire force in what was mostly an air war, and Nasrallah is celebrated as a supposed "victor" because of his guys were not all killed off. But to send Hezbollah infantry to try to conquer northern Israel would be to send them into the IDF's home turf, with no tanks, no holes to hide in, no supplies but those on their backs, no willing human shields to hide behind and no effective communications. They would be facing, not a small fraction of Israel's armed forces, as in 2006, but rather the "big guns". Hezbollah has never succeeded in crossing the Israeli border for more than 30 minutes at a time. Nasrallah is trying desperately to distract attention from the danger to his masters, so that they can beat down and shoot protesters in peace. Ignore the tunnel rat.
54. #43 lmao you're really an idiot
zvi   (02.17.11)
Netanyahu has many concerns, but Hezbollah conquering the Galilee is not one of them.
55. #45 actually Nasrallah lies all the time
zvi   (02.17.11)
He has been threatening to destroy Israel for a decade, and yet HA is not remotely a danger of that sort. Don't give Nasrallah credibility; he hasn't earned it.

al-kafir al-yahudi ,   usa   (02.17.11)
all of the anti-israel posters here are saying that netanyahu was scared and thus felt the need to respond to nasrallah's comments. well...if nasrallah was merely responding to barak's comments, then by your definition, nasrallah must be scared. ain't logic a bitch?
