about doing something now, the question is really about why the international community hasn't done anything TILL now. The protesters didn't just wake up to these tyrannical despots. They didn't just realize their human rights were being violated in Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Libya. These violations have been going on for years. The world could easily look the other way. Indeed, with Israel as a foil, they could look to the Jewish state as the cause of all the misery in the Mideast. They've said exactly that, actually. Now we see Israel has nothing to do with the problems in the Mideast, and the Palestinians were simply cannon fodder.
