Something tells me that any male can only wish to achieve the same. Did you know that KISS sold over 100 million albums worldwide? Did you know that according to RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) KISS became America’s # 1 gold record award winning band? Did you know that Gene Simmons has his own US Postage stamp? I happen to be a big Gene Simmons fan, but do you not have a problem with the fact that while KISS has performed all over the globe, they've never performed in Israel? What's up with that? After all, Simmons is very open about the fact that he was born in Israel and he's been reduced to tears, publicly, on more than once occasion when he talks about his mother having been a Holocaust survivor. So, while I appreciate Gene as a performer, and I'm certainly impressed by his intellect, I find it difficult to comprehend that glaring omission in his long and illustrious career as the founder of KISS.

I don’t have a problem with the fact that KISS never performed in Israel. For some unknown reason Israeli music industry (while it existed) never bothered to market the band properly. These days, performing in Israel in front of 5,000 people is not financially justified. Just to cover the expenses you will need at least 9,000 tickets sold for the reasonable price, which is unfortunately impossible.

Who cares if he comes to Israel or not. He appears only to be Israel, if that, and doesn't seem to care whether he is Jewish or not. His partner is not Jewish and his children are not Jewish. Anyway, it has taken him all these years to come here and I REALLY DON'T DARE.

Simmons has accomplishments. awesome. job well done gene. that does not mean that he has not made mistakes. perhaps he is trying to correct his error in judgement to have not brought good press to Israel in the past, by doing so now. hope so. please gene, make sure that you do Israel proud. she needs ALL of our help now. show her beauty...our enemies explote her weaknesses with hatred and lies...now she needs ALL the positive attention she can garner.
