Are the cable or phone line connections to the home of the coax/copper sort or is there also the option of ultra fast glass fibre? South Korea, some cities in the US and Europe have this.

Currently the connections are either coax for the cable service, or copper for ADSL. There is no fibre-to-the-home (although business users can have fibre connections if they need the capacity). I've read some articles over the past few days claiming that the Israel Electric service will be FTH, but that is not entirely clear yet.

I think we are talking here about powerline communications, so the Israel Electric Corp has already given the infraestructure
